S*** F*** D*** Mold?

I recently harvested my 8th plant. Great plant, let it veg for months. Yield looks like 2-3 ounces. As I have been harvesting over winter the humidity in my apartment has been very dry, 25-35%. I have understood guidelines of drying humidity to be best around 50% with over 60% being of mold concern. So I have been drying in a closet with a humidifier and air typically reaching 38-45%. Still dry. So a day after harvest my 2-3 ounces are in the closet and a problem occurs overnight with the humidifier. I check it in the morning and the floor is a bit wet and humidity is 99%. I take the buds out into Spring air which is ambient at 44%, and near a fan which is not blowing directly on. Now what? 8 hours of near misting. Its now about 2 days since harvest. If there was a cheap testing service in Illinois I would use it. I have a scope for trichomes which I guess I will use after a week of drying in ambient air and a couple weeks in a jar. I haven't seen any pictures of mold via a scope, I guess it would be obvious. What do you think?

Just keep drying them, make sure there is air circulation and then jar them up when they are ready, and keep a close eye on them. Use small hygrometers and take them out for a bit or open the jars if the RH gets too high. All you can do now is wait and see. Most likely, if you didn't have a mold problem to begin with, you are fine. Good luck!
