SA indoor noob needs help choosing COBs

As a personal grower it wasn't worth it. The heat sink can actually support 2 @ CLU058 3618's just fine. When I was running a water cool fixture and a heatsink cooled fixture, the only advantage was the weigh of the fixture. The water cooled didn't seem to perform any better. I don't worry about lifetime as much, better COB's are always coming.

right - but i like if they stay
you should drive them at half current as max. - 25% even better.
and that really helps to keep temps lower and rise efficiency.

6 x 100W chip @ 1,5% of max. current(3A) ---- 10W in total / 1,6W each
they do not even need a heatsink(handwarm) and you can hang them in the air like christmas lights.
lm/w is more than doubled compared with test current value.
