Safe outside grow locations

If i were to grow say, outside within a patch of tomatoes, and kept the plant short like a bush. Would it be relatively safe?

alot of people do it.. depends on location, how close you are to neighbors and many other things.. i have never personally done it.. reguardless it is too late to do this year

Yeh it could be done, but make sure you read up about LST, and Supercropping, its under the FAQS, under Pruning.

Just make sure no1 will be watering those tomatoe plants, etc....

i've actually seen this done a few times... very effectively too. My buddy just made sure to tie the plant down, it only grew about 3-4 ft tall, but about 4 ft wide... He also said that he always kept his garden fairly ungroomed so any passer by didnt notice the pot plants amongst the tomato plants and other weeds

i have done this a few times and seen a few friends try it...they set up 8 tomato plants...3 on the front...3 in the back..and one on each side...then grew the plant in the middle..tide up the tomato plants with some sticks and used pull ties/garbage ties to hold them up.
