CHOP CHOP!!!

I chopped down 4 of my plants a few days ago (after 70 days of 12/12) to make room for some rare-ish clones: Some A+ (aka Rock Bud).

Today after 76 days of 12/12 I chopped the other 4. Here they are with 2 SD's on the right and 2 BR's on the left:

One of the SD's. Those foxtails just keep on growing! Definitely the most impressive calyx to leaf ratio I've ever seen. The smell is definitely dank as fuck! stinkiest strain I've encountered by far! a pleasure to grow even though the yield isn't all that. My mistake was not letting them veg long enough. With virtually no side-branches and a very pronounced Sativa growth pattern, you need a decent veg time to get an OK yield. Still, I'm really happy and will keep my stash of SD for special occasions. Seriously too good to be wasted as an everyday smoke. I love it so much I'm considering SAGE'n'Sour as one of the strains for my next grow.

Here's one of the Blue Russians. it started to put out new growth a few days ago, but the inner buds are ripe and I really need to get my next grow rolling so I chopped. This strain leans more to the Russian side its DNA, but with a less woody, fruitier smell. One of the bad traits it picked up from its Purple Thai lineage is the random male flowers showing up towards the end of flowering. Nothing to worry about though as I haven't seen any seeds, and the amount of male bananas are just too few to care about. This strain definitely prefers low humidity and lower temps. Not ideal for a summer grow. Unless the smoke is exceptional I don't think I'd grow it again.
