So here is my grow/smoke report:

Photoperiod: 1 month 24/0, 86 days Flowering

Nutrients: Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Line, Calmag Plus, SuperThrive, Sweet carbo Grape.

Light: 400W MH for veg, 1000w HPS for flowering

Yield: 66.6 grams

Technique: just topping and tying

Flush time: 7 days

Notes : Had a light leak and plant started to grow bananas, had to chop her a week sooner.

Aroma: Smells intensely of sweet blueberries with a sour hint.

Taste: Tastes really sweet like blueberries and smokes very smooth

High: 8/10 Good cerebral high in the beginning followed by a warm body stone.

Appeal: When you tear apart the buds you can see the blue and purple calyxes. Compact buds like golf balls, not so sparkly though.

Maps-

The buds in that picture don't look that compact to me! And they are way bigger than a golf ball mass wise. Very nice report as well, +rep thanks for sharing. :)

LoL! I think you thought I meant 'not compact' as in 'not very dense' or airy. They sure as hell look super dense and not at all small! Now, I am a bit confused though- The report up top shows total yield as only '66.6 grams'.

Yet the beautiful looking bud in that last picture weighs over 12.5 grams by itself! With that yield number, you only got about 5.38 buds that weighed about 12.5 grams (which adds up to 66.6 grams)each, which...now that I think of it, doesn't sound right for some reason.
So...help me out here...you still only got 66.6 grams total yield? ;) Please bear with me though, I'm fairly heavily medicated right now, my apologies. :)

66.6..... sounds like the devil to me :P

But yah that yield does sound kinda low for a 1k HPS but i guess it is blueberry genetics, seems to yield low more often than others.

think youd be cheaper buying a couple of oz than running a 1000w grow for that amount, but the bud looks good and hope it smokes well.just my opinion not trying to put you down as your bud looks great.

That was just a plant bro, I was impressed by the weight of that single bud, It didn't yield that much I know whereas It could've done so much better. Anyways, this is good stuff for the one thinking on buying

I grew this strain out last year as well, guess my report is still in here somewhere. I have to agree, the smoke was good for an indica, but my weight on two of my 3 phenos were pretty light.
Did you have any bug problems? Mine seem to attract them, lol but then here it seems any purple coloring gives me a little problem
Thanks for the report.

i thought this strain flowered in 9 weeks... not 12? (as you stated 86 days flowering time) does that mean 86 days of 12/12? i wanted to order this strain, still plan on it but if it takes 12 weeks to flower i'm going to have to pass since i can't grow anything over 10 weeks flowering time outdoors.

your good to go with this stain if you could only grow with that amount of time. nicely dialed in she will take eight n a half wks both phenos. the purple one has that very blueberry aroma with a hint of diesel. the green pheno has that blueberry taste, but leans towards the nycd side. i have both phenos getting the chop on sunday at 8 wks n 5 days. hope that helps! ps keep nutes low n work your up slowly n she love u. my last feed was at 789ppms gorgeous plant. keep it green bro!

thanks, i'm looking to get that purple blue diesel pheno, figure out of 30 seeds i should get a keeper, f2's as well. I got a Killing fields f3 that finishes in 11 weeks, bushy grape sativa pinkesh pheno, after 3 weeks cure its smelling like grapey diesel and haze. i figured it would be dank since its basically purple Jack herer, can't wait to smoke next weekend.

The count is from flip and they came from 24/0, she took like 10 days to transition, most people start counting from there and they feed likewise, therefore the Help section is so full.

i got some extrema and some oriental express to finish up after the nbd. in veg right now i got some killing fields, shackzilla, sugar punch, choclate rain, and some more extrema clones. im gonna have to keep the killing fields in check cuz shes outgrowing the rest in veg! also looking forward for the sugar punch. as for your search for the purple pheno...you will definatly find what you looking for in a 30pk all his stuff is fire! your gonna have a hard time choosing. hope you find what your looking for:)

well I dug up my old smoke report if anyone is interested..........mine were ready in about 11 weeks but to qualify that I grow at 6500 ft and my times are always longer than at lower altitudes

https://www.rollitup.org/smoke-reports/455711-new-blue-diesel-breeders-choice.html

I do want to add that after this report I didn't smoke any of this for months and it finally came back into the rotation. It was killer all of the pheno's had a really get buz and very smooth. The aroma and flavor were better than when first cured to be sure.
