How the fuck is it possible not to drink in Santa Barbara? When I lived there I was forced to drink every night, many days too.

When your a local to SB Boozing gets real overated! I had my time of straight boozing and not giving a fuck! LOL Was tired of being broken and massive headaches!

Dan it's just not something that's conducive to me living life the way I want. It's real easy to not do something you don't want to bro it's just a personal choice not knocking anyone who drinks but I and donor normal my self control goes out the window when I do

Thats the important part man is that you man up to your mistakes and try to bounce back and be better.

Yeah, I moved for a reason. Could only handle that lifestyle for so long. When I moved to SF I actually found it to be a much more mellow place and easier to get things done.

Thanks for the responses guys. At least I'm not alone in that feeling... I was not getting anything some drinking was just becoming habitual and I was super lazy. Ran for a drink whenever I got stressed luckily I'm not directly in SB the scene there is definitely about party party party. I'm pretty much smack dab in the middle of SB and San Luis and the bars here are crowded with mariachis so that's not really my scene it helps a bit....

thanks for the words of encouragment !! it does mean ALOT. havin certian friends that dont get it and think im just leavin em' hangin sucks. but i guess you realize who your real friends are. on a smoking note... not burning right now is freakin HARD>!!!!!!
