didnt you guys see the thread about the root that comes out? a lot of people think that when the seed pops and the little root is curled over itself that its female...and if it comes out straight then its male. and i read somewhere that if the root comes out of the seed at the end of the seed its female...and if it comes out of the side of the seed its male...nothing set in stone but they're theories...interesting theories...Care to explain how to tell if its female when the seeds pop ? Would be cool to know

so...11 of my 12 seeds popped...im giving up on seed #12...lol. and GUESS WHAT!!!!
I have 3 sprouts!!! but i am a little concerned cuz the 3 sprouts are not the first seeds i planted...they're ones that just got planted a couple days ago...but im just gonna be patient! anyway...heres my pics...

dont sweat it plants are like ppl sometimes certain seeds just have better genetics i.e Grows tall or fast or bushyer. If i was you i would take the strongest of the bunch and clone them in 5-6 weeks, then flower one clone from each plant to sex it. That way u have a back line of a strong mother. Of course its all up to you, but if you get a strong mother and clone her it will knock a few weeks off your total time for next harvest.

#1 More Nitrogen produces more girls
#2 More Dark time like not doing 24/0 like goign 18/6 some say gives more girls.
#3 Someone posted once that a bana peal at the base of the stem makes plants flower female something about the gas it emits. If u ask me tho this way is just inviting mold /shrug

im not gonna re-pot...i figure im already causing enough stress by flowering from seed, so i put them in pots big enough for the whole grow. i found that a lot of people who do a 12/12 from seed can use smaller buckets. so thats what im doinglike the idea that u wont repot..... or u gona ?
common guys, riu isnt a kiddies place.. growing man.. respect the growers ^^

im not gonna bother cloning or keeping a mother until i've tried a bunch of strains...then i'll just keep mothers of my favourites. my next grow im gonna do some white widow and white rhino i think...and i'll probably put those in 5 gal containers and lst, and veg for a couple months cuz i LOVE ww and i've heard nothing but good stuff about wr...im just getting a feel for growing right now...

WW is teh best it such a stable strong strain u could grow that shit under a wendy's dumpster and still get decent nugs, lol . Ok maybe its not that strong but its hard to mess up, specially on soil. Never grown WR tho but i hear good things.
