I have a sativa. about 12 weeks flowering. i've looked at the trichomes and noticed that most are now cloudy. I'm a bit confused as most of the plant hairs are still white. should i go ahead and harvest?
The trichomes will turn more amber as the times draws near. I would give it a few more weeks. With a lot of white hairs still she still has alot of life in her. I had a sativa go 15 weeks and could have gone longer.
I'm at 14 on a sativa of my own, and they've been 100% cloudy for like 2 weeks, i predict there being 2 more and it'll be chop time. I upped it to 13hours of dark just to push it along though.
Are you sure you checked many spots on every bud, top middle and bottom of the plant?
I'm at week 15 flowering on my sativa now (I'll harvest tomorrow!!!), I have waited for every pistil to turn brown and recede into the bud,
every calyx to swell,
and still I have some clear trichs...
Trich development is slooooow on sativas. The only key here is patience, and waiting.
well ive been checking trich with 100 x scope for the last two weeks. ive noticed alot that were clear are now cloudy w about 15% amber in color. flowerin started about mid july putting me close to 12 weeks. I have no problem waiting it out a couple weeks. quick question can an outdoor plant be moved indoors without causing the plant to fail? i have a supplemental 400 w hps light. im wondering if the more powerful light would help yield during days of low sunlight? also how do you post pics on here? thanx
