I have been growing this Neville's Super Silver Sour Haze (It was labeled as) and its on day 87 but just keeps throwing out hairs and fox tailing like its never going to end, The outside of the plant has barely any Tricombes but its packed on the inside.
Lighting scheduled is 12/12 i heard you can drop it back a bit more to make them mature faster but i have other plants in the tent so i don't want to :-?.
Added a few closeup's of the tricombes
What you guys think ?

7 more weeks
Not sure if trolling

first off 87 days is not long for a sativa. sativas can go anywhere from 10 weeks to 25 weeks. secondly yes decrease the lights on hours to stop foxtailing and stop fertilization and especially no more N.
Woah i hope it don't go to 25 weeks i need it out the tent in text 3 weeks max :( Didn't even know it was possible or ever heard of a cultivar going 25 weeks.

Ime, foxtails, once started, never really finish. I wait until all the other pistils turn brown and recede, then I chop. The foxtails will just be what they are.

^^^^^the super long flower times are going to be breed out of your commercially avaliable strains. But I would expect just about any haze to run 90-110days

not very common with seedbank stuff but i’ve seen some niche grows with landrace sativas that push the boundaries of the concept of long flowering to new heights.

yeah foxtail doesnt finish but it can die down some with no N and shorter light hours till your buds underneath mature enough to be taken down. so there will be less new foxtailing not zero. this is my experience with it anyway. still smokes well though. for personal stash its not the end of the world, for commercial terrible bag appeal haha

yeah it mostly is but you always get a couple of odd ones that just doesnt wanna finish with every cultivar and more so with sativas ime. comes with the territory of growing sativas am i right lol

Great job, she looks healthy for 87 days. Flowering for a long time is not that easy. I’d keep them going, keep an eye out for rot and remove flowers if the leaves start dieing into the buds.

My lemon haze ran 98days. Probably could have saved 10ish if not for a mis water I had to flush out. Ran a Ag×Cg that I couldn't get across the finish line, but it stretched without really starting to flower for a full 5 weeks.
There's a community journal for super silver have going you might want to take a read though
Gas lantern has a lot of believers to its effectiveness, I have yet to find any true science backing it up yet @big bud man 413 really seams to have it working for him

As others already said mate id consider cutting light hours down to 10 hours id maybe cut light intensity as well too also cut the n for sure some sats you have to almost starve em of n at the end or they never finish right
