true or false indica plants have bigger buds but less potent than its cousin the sativa:leaf:plant
and sativa has small buds but more potent

he's got it kind of right, but kinda wrong at the same time.. indicas do usually form bigger, tighter buds, and sativa's tend to form smaller, whispier buds.. but that is about where it stops.. they do produce two very different kinds of highs though.. indica's usually produce a more body stone or couchlock, and sativa's are usually more of a head high.. more soaring and energetic... strength is kinda a false word, if you know what i mean... it depends on the type of high that you are looking for.. indica's usually are used for medicinal purposes.. like pain relief and sleep deprivation.. some indica's are very strong.. like say herijuana for instance.. very narcotic like.. and a good sativa will make you want to work, very creative... if this makes any kind of sense to you..
hope this helps some.....

Different weeds, different highs. Sativa, head high. Indica, body high. As for the strength, both have strains that are very high in thc. Indica also has higher levels of cbn where sativa does not and this is what makes you kind of sluggish. You can also get nice buds from either.

for strength, and talking raw brute force strength, you just can't compare
indica's have the knock out punch, not that every one likes them
sativa's can make you soar, but strong indica's are blunt force trauma

Since we are on this topic, I have a question also.

We know that in terms of trich's a greater ratio of amber:cloudy will result in a more body stone. In the reverse a greater ratio of cloudy:amber trich's results in a more energetic head high. From my experiences trich's go from clear to a little cloudy, then to completely cloudy/white and then to amber as they age.

Indica's flower time is significantly shorter then Sativa flowering time (8-10 week for Indica / 10-16+ weeks for Sativa's) I'm guessing since the indica generally has denser buds it means more calyx's. Which means the calyx's that formed early have gone completely amber. By harvest time the top layer calyx's are also mostly amber with a few remaining cloudy?

What I'm asking is which attributes for the type of high: the amber / cloudy trich ratio or the fact that the two species produce cannabinoids in different quantities or combinations? Or both? :wall:
