otherwise it'l be 12 feet before it finishes offany reason why?
just grow the same as a indica but start 12/12 light cycle at the 5th internode or as soon as you go under a HPS man
force flowering a sativa at say 8in will increase yield, and internodes are where the leaf stem comes out the main stemQuestion?, um when forcing flowering will you get lower yields?
PS
What are internodes? The pivot between the branch and the stem?

It would take much shorter to grow, but will it lower potency?
I hope not, or SOG growers are out on the street.
Key was the 5th internode. Most growers accept this as a good early point to begin flowering, even though you can flower at any time. There're 2 camps on the issue of lower potency due to early flowering. There are those who believe once the plant reaches that 5th node, you won't necessarily affect potency. The other camp believes if you allow the plant to mature naturally, the way mother nature intended and built into the plant's genetic code, you'll get the optimum potency (provided the environment is ideal).
Most flower their plants early to get a return on their investment as early as possible or to limit height of their plants, which can triple during flowering. If I had the space, I'd let my plants grow to 5' before flowering.
Does anyone have any suggestions on nutes soils or anything else on growing a 100% Sativa plant. I have grown Indica before but didnt know if there was that much of a difference.
How long can sativa's stay in veg?
Usually
if its pure sativa then 5th internode (5 sets of leaves) then 12/12 till harvestOne last question.

A pure sativa would be heaven to grow but for most of us, we don't have the space and privacy. I'd look into a hybrid with a predominantly sativa phenotype. Satori looks like a great candidate. Was it KP or BG who recommended this to me? Can't remember now but thanks. That's my next purchase.
