Saying Hello and had a question

First off wanted to say hello from the mountains of Appalachia.

Second, im setting up my first grow space. I have a 4ft by 4ft (10ft high) spare closet (who needs halloween decorations anyways?? haha) and im wanting to cover all my bases and get some input.
Ive bought two books "ask ed" and the "cannabis cultivator" which ive based most of what ive done. I have covered the walls of the closet with foil and purchased a hydro system (much like this one:

Ive done alot of reading but would like others opinions before i decide the following:

1. lighting. taking my space into consideration and proposing i have 6 plants going at once which light would work best. I am hesitant to spend 100+ for a 400 w if it will be overkill.

2, strain. (this has been keeping me up at night) i feel like a kid in a candy store. theres so many different types. BUT i have to decide this week. What strain would work best with my hydro system and with my space restraints for MAX yield. i plan on ordering from nirvana seeds. Suggestions??

Go ASU! No, 400w isn't overkill for 6 plants. Depending on the size you want the plants you could put well over 1000w on them if you wanted. If you wanted to keep them smaller, and in a tighter area a 400 or 600 is fine.

I've been leaning towards a 400w setup mainly due to paranoid heat issues. I have a sick feeling i'll come home from work and my house will be burn't down. weird i know.

any thought on strains? i'll be using the nirvana seed bank...
