Scent control

How do you successfully isolate/eliminate scent in a grow room?
I've looked into ionizers, but it is not cutting it being right near the plants, by the door, around the room. and it's built for a pretty large room like 160sq ft.
Would one inside the grow room and one outside benefit any? What is a working system?

Carbon scrubber
How does an inline filter work? You just buy a fan separate and plug the fan into it?
I'm not seeing any stats like square footage or cubic coverage, wattage. Only showing how long the filter lasts.
Please fill me in on the best deal and best brands.

The carbon filter actually reduces how much odor is removed from the grow area itself because it adds resistance and reduces air flow
unless you are feeding that same cleaned air directly back into the grow room which is unlikely
the smell around the plants when in heavy flower will always be noticeable unless you run ozone, the trick is to enclose this smell so it can't leak out
the smell needs the air to travel so to speak so controlling smell is about controlling air flow

you need to control the airflow completely around the plants you need to create a strong negative pressure around the plants so that air can only enter and leave the grow area
from these specific points , if air is able to "leak out" then you will smell the odor of the plants in areas of the house outside the growroom
ionizers do not work imo but they are harmless, ozone does work but it can be dangerous to both people and plants

I would definitely use a carbon scrubber.. need to find the size of your room that needs cleaning. Equation is length x width x height then divide by 3 that will give you the CFM Scrubber that you need. Cheers
