school bus

oh third question, you are talking about burying the bus so you have an super secret grow room? your not just trying to dispose of the bus right? a bus could be bad for the environment, its your carbon foot print not mine! jk, it wasn't very clear though
 
Never sen a bus done but know quit a few buried container rooms. What was yoiur generator question? If you get one get a dsiel unless its on your property where you have natural gas or can have a big propane tank then get a gas backup generator.
 
i have a few questions.
first how are you gonna dig the whole? do you have the machines needed?
then once the whole is dug how are you going to get the bus into it?
Also what are you going to use to reinforce the glass windows so that they dont break from the pressure?
How do you plan on making the bus air tight so that nothing can come in through any cracks or what not?
Also do you plan on removing all the seats from the bus?

Just a few things that ran through my head when I read your original post. I thought to myself if i was going to try this, what would be the bigger problems i would face. I look forward to hearing whether you decide to proceed with this.
 
that is my mistake. i read it i just didnt pic up on the backho part. i thought it was a spelling error or something. haha my bad
 
yea i am with you on the support and air leak stuff tho .......if i had a choice i would use somethin like a nice steel enclosed trailer like deisels pull around .....but if you got a bus to work with .....maybe just bury it in ther barely lol ..prlly still crush up .....would be neat to see tho im waitin for the pic lol
 
why not just black it out, the windows, and grow in it above ground. hehe. Black it out. Throw a tarp over it. Cover it completly sitting under a tree. Let weeds grow around it. Make it look like an old relic half forgotten. Awesome. Run a line buried into the bus. Vent out wherever. With a little work you would have a nice grow room.

Also I dont think the windows would break if you buried it. But plywood is cheap. DO something cool with the bus!
 
The point to bury it is complete stealth,sound proof, burgler proof,heat signature proof, and cooler. The windows is only a slight issue the actual structure of the bus isnt designed for the tonage of weight the dirt would be which is the worry of burying it. The steel containers I talked about are thicker and more ridgid but still need a steel beam structure welded inside to support the weight

i would like to see that and said and done. Thats a real good idea i was thinkin bout doin sumthin like that but not buryin a bus just makin like a under ground trench
