Do you think the VA problems go away with mo' money? Yes all pubs are evil incarnate and only care about the rich, but are you going to really say the problems go away if the dem bill is passed? Are the problems with the VA party specific?

Do you hold Obama/Biden to any fault? You know, since they campaigned on fixing on the problems back in 08' with a well laid out plan, won the election, held the holy trinity of power for two years, did nothing, and then acted like they were surprised when they found out 6 years later?

Nope, just wanted your reaction to see where you stand. I got it though, the VA problems are all the pubs fault. The president who has known about the problem for years, ran a campaign on it to get veteran votes, then acted surprised when the shit hit the fan. If not for the media, most people would be unaware of a decades old problem. But it's all the pubs fault.....

The VA has systematic issues that are common amongst government programs. The staff makes more for less and attracts staff that are only concerned with money and bennies, not people. The rural VAs are staffed with docs who are fresh out of school and will only be there until their obligations are met. A lot of these docs haven't fully mastered the English language yet and by the time they do, they move on with very little continuity.

During healthcare debates, we said look at the VA, is that how you want our medical field to look? Deaf ears... Now that the idiot pubs blocked a bill, THAT's what's wrong.

Let's all make excuses for our team, blame the other team and see if anything changes in DC.

Come on sky, our government can't properly take care of people who risked their lives for the country so... Universal health care? The government has all the answers, but only a government run by dems, get the pubs out and we'll all be in candyland. All we need to do is raise taxes...
 
Maybe, if the pubes ( I prefer that term over pubs, which are actually nice), didn't constantly embattle the Administration over the smallest things possible, maybe something might have been addressed about the VA situation sooner, which has actually been a problem since the Civil War. The US has a long history of sending soldiers off to war, and then forgetting about them in the end ( Los Alamos Radiation tests on troops/ Agent Orange use on troops/Depleted Uranium effects on troops, Gulf War Syndrome,etc., fucking etc.) As was mentioned by the OP, the pubes, even at the cost of hurting and killing Americans, will do ANYTHING to cause this Administration to look bad, and fail. So, surprise again that those cocksuckers would vote against something that this Administration wanted, even if the cost was the welfare of this countries soldiers. They sure as shit don't mind sending them off to war to die, but after the war has faded from the news, the soldiers have ALWAYS seemed to be on their own. Or have I missed something?
