What any potential for profit grower should consider is who makes up their clientele.

If they will mainly be people with a good to better than just good amounts of money to spend on what they purchase and they expect high to top quality then you need to grow what will provide your largest customer base with what they expect and will only purchase.

You can then grow quality genetics and charge enough that even if you have slightly fewer customers you more than make it up in markup.

If the largest portion of your customer base will be buyers with average to lower than average amounts of money to spend then going with ultra cheap genetics or bagseed, from a darn good bag, would be better for you.

They would not expect the very best so as long as it was just good to pretty good for the price it would sell and if that means more customers you then make up the difference in profits through volume, assuming of course that you have the room to produce a larger volume of your product to market.

That's how I see it anyway.

Look at who the majority of your customers will be and then cater to their average wants/needs/likes/dislikes.
