Scissor Hash Oil

Is there a way to turn scissor hash into a more refined and/or dabbable or full melt? I was thinking about soaking in high proof alcohol overnight then straining into a Pyrex dish for the dry..... Don't really want to uses butane.

So just basically use solvents to get it back to a liquid form and then just strain through mesh plus coffee filter into pyrex? I have a lot... I have some that is 100 percent organic and some from some more questionable dispensaries. Im keeping them separate as I only partake in organic etc but is there a way to guarantee that there is just thc with the sub par stuff. I am sure theres nothing too wrong with it as its medical but I still don't like taking chances

Well I did it. Just used everclear on the organic stuff. Grinded it up to a fine kiefy mix and then put it in a 2 cup measuring cup. Probably had a bout 4 grams of the organic scissor hash so we will see what the yield is. Hope it works. I figure it cant come out any worse than it came in. The non organic (it could be organic, I just keep it separate if I don't know 100%) stuff I have a lot more of but I don't know enough about the grows to know if its okay or not. Probably should have done a test run with that to see how it came out. If theres one thing I am snobby about it is organics
