Scotts soil

I bought some scotts soil to use for my babies & I noticed it was .07 .01 .03 are the numbers suppose to be so small?

To me, and I'm new too, but the smaller the better, for the soil. I tried Miracle Gro and there was too much nutes in that and it stunted the growth of my plants. I switched to a very generic potting soil with no nutes and I have had much better success adding my own. I don't have access to fox farm, but i've heard that's really the best.

I used this exact soil last year on two small plants.. left them out in my yard in pots and never touched em all summer.. one was a male that smelled like the bombest bud ever, such a shame, and the female grew small. Never burned em or anything, so I'd say it's good to use. Those small nute numbers were the reason I used the Scotts in the first place. This year I went the way of everyone else and picked up some fox farms.. hope it's worth the moolah.

Just wondering does adding crushed egg shells really help? & if so could my plant grow big and nice off just a lot of crushed down egg shells?
