Google eart is good as long as you do your homework along with it. I used state land this past season and google earthed' my location ahead of time to find a nicely wooded area. If your going to grow outdoors, just put in the extra effort and scout the area before hand. If your thinking of growing on your own property you already know, i grew on 5,000 acres of state land and never had so mcuh as an inclanation of someone suspecting me... stay safe, take every precaution and stay up. With peace in mind, mco. ya know.

seems like an ok distance...does he or anyone from his household ever go into the wooded area?
im not sure, but i know that he is a deer hunter... :? in GE i do see trails on his property but they are about 207 yards away.

Hey man good luck on your grow next spring.. Hypothetically speaking, if i were to plant a plot of plants far in some woods and leave it, being that no one or animal altered with it, would the plants be able to maintain itself ? I'd imagine it would take alot to kill these plants..

Thats a good idea, but don't try to tape some money on a tree...

Go to the ABC store, buy like 5 medium sized bottles of Jack Daniels and place them in VERY obvious places near the entrance of your woods, or around the perimeter of your plot, on nearby trails... you get the idea.
I have never had one go missing on me, and I can reuse them, or crack one open to have a celebratory drink each year. Its better than one of the security camera things, because you can only deduce one thing if the bottle goes missing...
