scrawny bud

Hey guys I'm havin a bit of a crisis. I am growing kushage (og kush x sage) in oceanforest soil in 5 gallon pots using 2 1000 watt hps lights. As soon as I put these ladys in 12/12 after the 1st week they started stretching like crazy. In the 3rd week the branches where so long I had to start tying up so they weren't on the floor. I am now in my 7th week of flower and my buds are barely anything. The heat may have been a factor because it got above 80 in the room for a week strait until I could get it under control. If you have ever seen pictures of the strain dr. Grinspoon, this is exactly what my bud looks like. So my question is, will my bud fill out anymore by the 11th week? Any advice would be helpful I'm open to all suggestions and I understand that everyone has a different growing opinion so I try to take from everything.

are you counting days when you switched or when you saw the pistils?

When I switched. I'm starting to worry that I'm gonna spend more on electric than I'm gonna make off the bud.

You say "make off the bud" but you're growing one plant only?
Sounds like a personal grow, not a profit grow.
I've got two plants, basically in 10th week, counting from time I saw pistils, and they have at least 3 or 4 more weeks to go, but they are still filling out.

usually you wanna start counting when you see it actually start flowering because the plant still has to change from veg to flower it doesnt happen over night so you probally got a lil bit of flowering left depending on when you seen the pistils come out patience is virtue brotha

Not 1 plant but 12. I've always let my grows go at least 11 weeks of flower but this one is lookin like a bit longer
