Look at cars.. classics are just that, fun to park and look at. Chat with friends/car guys about. But, going on a across country trip everyone wants power steering , ac , abs , airbags , radial tires , unleaded gas....

You don't see em putting mmillions of their own in cages either :D I'd rather be a monkey in the wild than a human trapped in this insane system of anger and oppression :D tech can be good or bad depending on how you perceive it. Personally i think it is destroying the human race, look at what a bunch of useless cunts kids have become courtesy of mobile phones and facebook etc :D I say kids, even the 30-40yr olds have become said useless cunts.

See how well we have drawn this away from weed :D
No, you are right they will not cage them...they just kill them instead.....

if you'd like to be a monkey I can't help with that one... I for one say just deal with it! your in a fucked system. kill yourself or move on.... right?

Being one of those useless 30-40yr old cunts you speak so highly of... It would seem as your bitter at something and it sure is not looking like it's the weed from yester-years.

Tech... being good or bad.. dude?!?! ANYTHING has the potential to end in a negative or positive way .. even a blowjob has the potential to end in Horribly unthinkable ways.. that mean you avoid them entirely?

It's just a matter with what you grew up with. I smoked alot of weed in the 70s. Got blasted. I look back...now that I grow my own...and just shake my head. :) but then it's what I grew up with. I also grew up with no computer, phone stuck to a wall, and spring water that came from a garden hose in the backyard.

got to remember you had rebellion against cookie cutter look
against society with girls hairy arm pits, hippy vans, burning bras
letting hair and beards go ragged sitting in the park naked till the
cops chased them off but everyone sure got high
sooo image for stoners and hippies was not everything, including with the pot back then

i tend to agree with tip top toker on this one... first of all, about 90% of todays' genetics all come from these so called shit strains, so what does that tell you?? i don't buy into that monkey argument either, but that's just me..
i'm not saying the weed back then was better, but you have to remember none of it was grown indoors under proper conditions like what we have today.. now a days, people have complete sealed rooms, co2 enrichment, super hps blue enhanced bulbs, advanced nutes latest and greatest supplements to bring out the very best in the buds, grow tents, etc, etc, etc..
back in the 70's, that bud was grown out in mountains and fields with lil care.. seeds were planted in spring, and people would come back at harvest season and chop what had managed to make it that far.. males were common, seeded bud as well, not to mention things like drying and curing.. a gold is said to have gotten it's golden color from being cured out in the mexico sun.. today, we realize that exposure to light degrades thc.. imagine the post on riu where someone said that they're drying they're bud in the cali sun to give it that golden color?? they'd get laughed off of the boards..
then it comes down to packaging and transportation.. lil care was taken as they put keys of bud into anything that would hold it to get it to where ever it would eventually be sold.. today, i doubt most of us are 3 or 4 people away from the person who grew it, if that far, and those people take extreme care in the way that they package their buds as well..
i'd love to have some old skool gear and grow it under the premium conditions and compare it apples to apples to todays weed and see what's the dillio.. really the only way to do it..

i couldnt have said it better myself...the dank was always there jus not optimum conditions like todays indoor growin.

then you have the beautiful christmas tree
strains from hawaii, kona gold, puna butter,
elephant stick, maui wowie, blue hawaiian
(light flourescent green & light blue hues overlay) etc.,
lets not forget the 4 combined colors of laotian devotion nugs then
you had the beautiful pine nugs from fallbrook,Cali.
that tasted like the breathtaking area it was grown in
ahhh the strains you don't see and are not shown in
mags from back in the day and wait....there were more then
merely those few yes there are many stories of great strains
from the 70's that have not been written of yet or will ever be
and lets not forget about the great hash and oils available in
the USA that came from turkey,
nepal, afghanistan, india, lebenon etc..
it didn't come from or was made in someones garage in L.A. like

It most likely looks that way in those photos because at that time, nearly all of the weed in the US was imported if I'm not mistaken. The curing/drying processes in those other countries... absolute shit. They let the plant just bake there in the hot sun to dry, exposing it to all of the elements. Not to mention the whole smuggling journey after that.

Yep.... the weed was pretty sad looking in the 70's.
Remember this you young whipper snappers.
You wouldn't have the quality of weed you have these days...Without the old days.
Call it the "Research and Development area".
So don't be a smart ass. Before I put you over my knee and spank you.
