Cool, Yea ima get me some Roots Organics next month for my new AI clones. Ill give you some pics next week and let you know how their Responding to their Training. Starting Next week, Im putting 1 of my plants into 12/12 every week. so 2 months from now, Ill be harvesting 1 plant every week. and hopefully I can keep it that way. After a few months, I figure I wont regret getting new bud as often as a paycheck.

yea, i always end up one or two that end up taking a long time bouncing back from cloning, but i typically pitch em... i held on to a couple of em this time and let em do their thing, and after a few weeks they are showing more vigor, but i dont think im gonna bother doing anyhting with em...

also, i dig your scrog sog setup, where did you get that netting that fits dixie cups lol... also, how often do you watr and feed in the dixies during flower, and what is the ec you feed with?

i was just curious as i dont really do soil, and never flowered in a dixie cup.
The clones in that pic were jacked from the start due to the light warrior soil mix. I originally had half of the clones and all the seedlings in the pictures above potted in the light warrior. I re-potted everything into Roots shortly after identifying the issue. I left a few of the clones in the medium to try to identify the source of the issue. I have since trashed them after treating the medium in the usual troubleshooting ways. I believe it was a bad mixture which created very acidic conditions. At any rate, everything recovered relatively quickly and is moving along very well.

The netting is bailing from Christmas trees purchased in years past. I save anything and everything that may serve useful in these matters. The benefit to this material is that it's easy to install, easy to remove from plants, and is very pliable. Excellent for training/manipulating branches.

This scrog was very different than ones in years past. I received 4 clones from a friend of a friend who received them from a club for medical purposes. The clones were each 3 ft tall and in party cups. I transplanted them immediately into 3 gal root pots in roots organics soil and started the soil/root building process. I topped them twice because they were 3ft bean poles. After topping twice, I transplanted them into 5 gal root pots and stepped up the soil/root building. They exploded. They produced 20 plus tops each. I could barley keep them erect! At this point, I had taken 150 clones and 30% were ready for flower. So, I installed the screen 8 inches below the tops and inserted the four plants under the screen in a manner and order that would bend them in the direction of the next plant inserted. This worked extremely well. Each plant covered 1/4 of the screen right out of the gate. So much, in fact, I had to make some hard decisions on thinning due to density and such. Sorry for the short story, but this has been quite a trip.

Because the clones in the party/dixie cups were placed into flower just three days after transplant, they only need water/food every three days just like the 5 gal girls.

I don't run the ppm as I am running organics. The microbes do that for me. I use reverse osmosis water, roots organics, and microbial inoculations. The funny thing is, currently the sog and scrog feed and water at the same rate. The big girls eat and drink a lot. I'm sure there will be a change in the timing at some point however, since I water by weight/feel only, I will not have issues in this area. The dixie cups throw everyone, but it's all good. By the time they become root-bound, they will be just about finished. I have done the dixie cup flower in both soilless and in soil previously. It's all in the timing.

kk gotcha that was good info that will point me in the right direction... you mentioned the light warrior, do you know what the issue was with that... i use it as well, and havent really noticed any problems with it specifically, though i am switching to roots when i pick up dirt in a week... thats mainly because of fungus gnats in ffof i found. they didnt cause an issue as only a few popped but, id rather not deal with a problem if i dont have to. thanks again.

Today I built the scrog table, Its at a height that will keep the canopy at the same height as the scrog. I drew the two hoods closer together as to utilize the light at the perimeter of both footprints.

The table channels the air from the intake and draws it up through the canopy. I have a fan mixing the air over the SOG area.

I haven't installed the table liner yet, I plan on using the product called black out. Its very reflective, waterproof, tough and easy to clean. Its on the floor of the cab in the picture above.

I will be installing a 1000w HPS in a month or so when I add the second batch of SOG to fill the table. Plan is to have it on a 3 month perpetual cycle until I get mothers off the best genetics from the AI, NL and AK. At that time I will switch the system to Areo_NFt. You may be asking where the third batch of clones will go. I plan on installing a t-5 system under the table and rotate them through. I think using the T-5s to initiate flower will really keep the stretch down.

temps inside remain within a few degrees of outside temps. Humidity stays pretty stable.

I transplanted 4 of the babies from these crappy 1 gal. bags to some 3 gal roots pots and the rest into 1 gallon roots pots, I just love these pots. This round I laid a bed of hydroton pebbels in the base of the pot for drainage and added aeration, then topped them off with a layer at the top to help bring the feeding roots to the top soil and even out moisture levels in the soil.

The screen continues to explode and tomorrow is the transitional feeding is scheduled, the batch is brewing up now :) The sog and scrog continue to feed and drink at the same intervals, I will be topping their pots with the hydroton and finish the table tomorrow.

On another side note, Ill be investing in a GLH LED system instead of the 1000w HID. It will cost over a G for just the light, but in light of recently aquired knowledge, I think a better investment. I will most likely trade in my 2 400Ws and buy the 1000w a few months after that purchase. Im thinking of putting the LED below the SOG table and The 600w over the table and the 1000w Will take the 4x4 Area where the scrog currently resides.

Spectra LED 300

Ive got A scrog going under a 600w HPS, a SOG in the same cab under a 400w HPS and 23 Seedlings and 100 clones in a seperate veg room until the come of age. Plan is to fill the room with um. Ill put them into the flower from in 1 month intervals to get the perpetual timing rolling.
Seedlings are Aurora Indica, Northern Lights and AK-48

Will all your plants be under Scrog? or will you be SOG as well? i dont wanna mess with screen tho it would prolly be great for my girls.. LSTing still View attachment 1412159 I dunno tho. how easy is it to tend to your plants under screen? I like to Tie mine alot, I even tie fan leaves down. so the branches sprout towards light

Currently my scrog area is full and my SOG area will be filled with the rest of the clones currently in the process of cloning. Basically, I will have to utilize a temporary flower room to phase in the new genes. Plan is to setup everything so I'm harvesting every 30 days.

My screen is rather tall, so they're easy to tend too as these plants were vegged for two month after I recieved them. I kept cloning all the shoots to fill my room as quickly as possible. I ended up with very large, bushy plants, scrog was really the option for them. I've done several scrogs in the past, the most recent scrog I did was a modular one were each plant had its own screen built around it. This made it easy to move them around etc.

Im going to LST A few from each strain, top a few and let the others do there thing.

Day 11 of flower, I believe the stretch is over. Flowering has really set in and all the girls are looking really happy.

I had a shock and awe "Bush" campaign with some gnats for a few days, took those little buggers out

Its not too bad, I have them in little tubes that I just flood to water. I have a lot more little one to add and am planning on just using a single tub for them it will be a lot easier to cultivate the Soil :). Flowering is now in full swing and things are really taking off. Ill update with pictures either in 1 month into flower or if someone requests it sooner

I haven't had too many comments on this thread, i was expecting some people to critique and suggest things like removing all foliage under the screen. I used to do this until I did a comparison grow with one bare naked lady, one with only leaves and one with no trimming to see the actual affect. It was pretty dramatic, in the final leg of flowering the one with leaves only below the screen really packed on a lot of weight. Of course the one with no trimming just didn't compare at all.
