SCROG square fotage questions

What is the optimum square footage/plant in a SCROG setup? I'm moving soon, and I am trying to plan a garden for my closet, I want to grow 4-8 plants for me and another MMJ patient.

Would a 5'x2'x5' space (10 square feet) be large enough ?
