SCROG When To Flip

Fill 3/4 then flip. Train for the first ten days ie pulling to the next square . Then allow them to stretch above the net. Depending on strain that's a pretty good rule to follow. If it's a no stretch indica fill the screen then flip if it's a known stretcher flip now.

I'd veg another week till about 3/4 full then flip like I said jack Herrer is more sativa so I would do 3/4 train for the first ten of flowering then let her go. If one branch seems to be higher then others after the ten days train the highest ones to try and keep as even as possible. When I get home today I'll show you a pic of what it will look like when I'm about ten eleven days in.

So the breeder says I can expect 2x stretch. So here is where the lady is at today. So, based on that info, when do you believe would be a good time to flip her?20170507_151148.jpg 20170507_151153.jpg 20170507_151159.jpg 20170507_151212.jpg

First pic taken 3/23 2nd pic 5/7 and I may flip in a couple of days. I am running a scrog so I am vegging a bit longer than I usually would.20170323_185433.jpg 20170507_151148.jpg

You got at least a couple weeks to go before the screen is even half full. Should lash the grow tips down with pieces of twist tie then you can always re-position a branch if you want to. Things get jammed up if you weave the branches in and out of the mesh. I prefer a more leggy strain for ScroG to get long branches faster to weave around the top.

As the plant starts going thru the stretch you keep lashing down the tips until flowers get well set and the stretch is about over. Then the colas don't get too high up and flop over anyway.

Do a good job and you should pull a half pound off it and half that again in nice sugar trim. :)

Good luck and good growing!

:peace:
