Scrogging Limits?

What I have read so far about doing a scrog is that the idea minimum for the screen is 1 plant per square ft.
However what I was wondering is the a maximum, for instance could you put one plant under a 2x2 area screen so a 4 sq ft area, and if you can what exactly needs to change other than veg time? Such as screen height...

Anyone know? Maybe wrong place to post?

im new and doing my first scrog but still a while before i use the screen. Im sure u could use a 2x2 screen but i think with one plant it would prob cover a 4x4 area if u had the space to do so. you do not adjust the screen just place it about 10-12 inches above the top of the pot and leave it there and train the plant as it grows into the screen. id do no bigger than 2.5 inch holes in the screen. if doing hydro then make sure you account for drainage/refilling of the res once the screen is in place
