Scrubbing air in sealed room

Finishing up my sealed room. I have AC, heat, co2, and humidity, running on a controller. Now to scrub(de stank) the air in the grow room, do I just recirculate the carbon scrubbed air within the room like all day, or should I exhaust it every couple hours?

you can run it in room with no exhaust fine. Also what AC did you go with? to keep the co2 in ... a mini split? >.<

If your room is only flowering one cycle at a time, then it can be on mostly during weeks 3 till the end of flowering, your choice, if it stinks, turn it on, if not, dont really sweat it. And the easiest way is just to put a vortex fan on top of a can carbon filter and let it blow the air up into the room. Exhausting it would cost you $$ in co2..... Easy as pie!

I scrub and exoust out when hot. Other then that stink stays in. But you can scrub in the room if you want. Or both. Etherway is good.

Thanks everyone. I have a 8000btu portable AC ducted into room, and exhausting outside.
I have it set up like mentioned above, with the fan sitting ontop of the filter, right inbetween my 2 tables.
I guess I'll just wait and see how bad the sink gets to see how often to run it.

I personally scrub 24/7 in a sealed room with a fan on a filter recirculating air in the room. I have a temp exhaust as well with it's own separate filter. Without negative pressure the recirculating filter isn't ideal, but you can definitely tell a huge difference if it's on or not.

Is it gonna be a issue just pumping in AC air and never exhausting air? Like blowing up a balloon? Its a 5x5 room.

I just wanted say that i have a 450cfm fan an filter and i just put the fan on top and let it run. It was not very good, then i was instructed to use a piece of duct and put my filter on one side of the room and the clean air discharge on the other side of the room. It now works much better. when you just put the fan on filter and run it strait up it only cleans the 50cf around the filter. just my 2cents

I don't think ACs exchange air like that. For window units at least, hot air generated by the compresser is vented from the back, but the cold coils in the front are just recirculating the room air. I'm assuming portable units are the same, with the hot air venting from the exhaust pipe.

In regards to pressure even in my sealed room, I pump in hot CO2 air from my water cooled gen, so it ultimately would have to have at least SOME positive pressure, just not enough that I've noticed. Not sure where the air is leaking, though I'm not vacuum tight in my room.

Well the portable unit isn't in the room. Its outside the room, with ducting connecting it to the grow. The exhaust side is also ducted to an outside window.
I just wondered cause i'm just pumping in air with the AC co2, never letting air out. I'm sure its not air tight so shouldn't be an issue?
