i am about to start my first sea of green. but since i am in australia and the strain i am going to use is Blue Cheese, a friend has thrown the name SEA OF BLUE in the air and i like it.

from here on to me and a few others a sea of green with any blue strain that is grown in australia will be know as SEA OF BLUE.

i am picking up the babies this arvo. when i get them home i will take some pics and start the journal properly.

Also in for this one. 8E so what have you growing now? I thought you had SLH in a scrog grow. That still going on too?

time for me to tell you all what i am planning for this grow. its an aussie sea of green, SE OF BLUE. i was going to run 16 plants in the SOB, but i couldnt get the components i needed to build the setup. i have decided to do a 8 plant SOB. i will be using a flood and drain system.

there will be a 900mmx900mmx150mm black tray with 8 pots sitting in it. i will be putting a screen up to help with uniformity. unfortunately i have to wait until tomorrow before i can go get the tray and pots.

i am going to be using canna nutes again. a mate and myself are doing a nute comparison grow. we are both growing the Super Lemon Haze and the only difference is that he is using dutch master and i am using canna. it will be interesting to see the reults.

here are some pics of the babies that i have at the moment. there is 14xBlue Cheese, 2xSuper Lemon Haze and 4xMystery. i did have a total of 18xBC but decided to run some in separate grows, 8 in the SOB, a friend has 4, i am going to run 4 at the end of one of the tents. there will be the SOB and 3xMystery in one tent, there will be 4xBC and 4xMystery in the other big one and i have my 1mx1m tent which has my SLH in there. the babies with the yellowing leave are the ones that i cut. my cloning technique needs work. the BC clones i got from a mate are heaps healthier that mine. its all good they will all look pretty much the same when i am finished with them.

i will post more pics once i get it all setup.

i would like to tell you all that along side SEA OF BLUE grow we are going to be able to watch 3 of the Mystery plants go through bud with the SOB.:razz:

my brother has the 3 Mytery girls in a 2.2mx1.2mx2m under 2x600watt hps. we are going to grow them in one end of the tent with the res positioned underneath the SEA OF BLUE, which is at the other end of the tent, so that both systems are able to use the same res. this unfortunately means i wont be growing with canna.:-( the first SEA OF BLUE will be grown on dutch master. next one will be grown on canna.:lol: we are going to be putting another 400watt hps into the tent to help with light coverage. total of 1600watts hps in the grow space.

i have another 2.2mx1.2mx2m.:lol: which i am going to set up pretty much straight after i finish getting this one set up. i am not 100% sure what is going in there. i do know that there will 4 plants going in first then half way through flower i am going to be putting in another 4 plants that i will be vegging somewhere else. where i dont know yet.

i will get some pics up tomorrow. i will show you all the setup and all the girls in their new homes.

Good stuff, you know how I feel about Canna...lol... :-) I just lurve it... I too am going to try the Cyco range one day...

But yeah, I stand by my previous statement that Dutchmaster sux, but I understand why you're doing it.... :-)

I will be using Grotek for my grow. They are relatively cheap, but results from them r good.
.. What's this I hear about a screen? :shock: u can't do a screen.. I'm doing the Screen.. Ur meant to be doing the Sea.?
Anyway Keen 2 See the Setup.

hey man, i have been looking at a few things and have decided i wont be using any screen. i am just going to let them do their thing.

I will be scrogging my Blue Cheese...:-) Just so we can have a comparison.... I am so impressed with scrogging... I don't think I;ll ever grow any other way...

Yeah when u get the technique down right, it works so well it makes me want 2 touch myself..

thats what i was going to do, but i cant cover up where the flood and drain fittings go in the tray. next SOB will be 4x4 i am looking for a tray that i can use for it.

this time it will my test run too. you know me if all goes well, i will go bigger.
