:confused:im fairly new at this, so any help would be a +. regarding s.o.g how big of a harverst vs. time can i expect from that tactic? lets say if im using 1000watts, and 4 clones a sft. if you have any better idea let me know.

I see most sog plants on RIU getting 1/4 oz at the least and 1/2 oz on average with a 1000w. so at 1-2 oz a foot, 10sqft gets you 10-20oz if you have the right strain, and you are doing the right things. i have however seen much higher yields than this is some cases. harvest time is strain dependent.

Re howany plants are you counting per sqft?

you can harvest every 2 weeks if done properly...just cycling in/out new plants in the flowering room...

sorry, i was refering to your desired 4 per sq.ft. for my measurments. also, its nice to have perpetual, but the cash is in the mono crop unless you have a lot of space.

How big of a harvest do you get out of that in how long? What's the strain
I get about 1.5 to 1.75 lbs (dried and cured) every 2 to 3 weeks. I have 2 tables that hold a total of 160 plants and perpetual 40 plants at a time going straight to flower once the clones are rooted in my aero cloner. And harvest every 14 to 21 days.

so you basically get 1.5 - 1.75 lbs from 40 flowerd plans every 2-3 weeks? your set up is one table of 40 clones vegitaing for about 2 weeks and the tranferd to flowering for 2 weeks? and then those 40 get about 1.5 to 1.75 once dried? did i get that?? lol sorry if i sound stupid if im wrong jus trying to clear it up

oh wait sorry i didnt see the 160 part.. so two tables with 80 ok.... but i still dont understand the how do you only have 40 flowering out of 160, and that mean the 40 are making 1.75?

I think you're confused. He has 160 flowering at a time, but everytime he brings 40 new clones in he's also taking out 40 plants that are ready for harvesting. Rinse repeat.

Correct D.C......cut 40 out thatn are ready to harvest and replace with 40 new rooted clones and 2 weeks later repeat with the next batch that is ready to remove and replace with 40 new rooted clones and repeat the process every 2 to 3 weeks = perpetual grow.

No hes saying that every two weeks he harvests 40 plants. Each set of 40 plants are 2 weeks apart. By doing this you will always be able to harvest the next rotation of plants every 2 weeks.

1.5lb harvest every two weeks (roughly) = 672 grams from all 40 plants = 16.8 grams per plant on average.
how many per sq. ft. i may never know.

now that the calculator's out, lets say that he get 18,816 grams yearly at this rate from 1,120 plants. beautiful!

I just cut the top colas off of about 20 tall plants so I can let the light get to the smaller buds on the lower branches. After trimming, the tops weighed in at 1450 grams or 3 lbs 3 oz of wet bud and after a few more days I will complete my 40 plant harvest and probably get another 1.2 to 2.0 lbs of wet bud which will get me about 1.5 to 1.75 lbs of dried/cured bud (hopefully)

The square feet for these 40 plants is 12sf. My tables are 3x8. It holds 80 plants put in 40 at a time.

I usually don't weigh my shit as I chop and after it dries but I will do it this time and post my results for ya.
