Hmm, yeah, I did the math, and I'm getting .336 grams per watt. That's a biiiig difference... and I thought I knew what I was doing :( I'm hoping (beyond hope?) that at least one of my 2 new strains (WW and Master Kush) will be better suited to my style of growing, and that will help... also, I've realized I need to get my temps up (I'm in the low 50's at night... stupid exhaust fan sucks all the heat out of my basement)... so many issues. Thanks for the help, in the meantime.

Most recent totals:

Total sq feet= 32
Watts/sq foot= 31.25 on a light rail
Total plants= 28
Yield/plant (avg.)= 15.75g
Total yield= 441 grams
Grams/watt= .441

A little better than last time, although I think I'm stretching it with my watts/sq foot... do you think I'd be better off using less square footage of the table and getting fewer, tighter buds? I'm also considering adding CO2 but I'm afraid that I might not have the wattage necessary... input, please! Thanks again...

Hey there, thanks for your help and input... haven't actually finished any of the new ones yet, the Master Kush mom never reverted to veg after sexing her, so the clones just won't grow. Very frustrating. I've got 3 White Widows that are about 4 weeks into it, and they look pretty nice. Actually, I did finish an Early Misty, and it wasn't that impressive, though I did get that one for outdoors anyway, we'll see how she does under the sun!

Hey how is it going?
One thing that no one has said is that one big reason ppl sog is not for a big yield its for a faster growing cycle or I should say more cycles per yr. ie: a 8 wk flower with only a wk or less vegging will give you 6 cycles. but if you grow a 8 wk flower but veg for 4-8 wks you might only get 3 cycles.
Have you thought of using two 600w on your light mover?

Yes, I'm strongly considering it... I've actually got to get the service to my house upgraded, and I've got to work out some over-heating issues, but I may be doing just that, very soon.

And the thing about the sog... I'm not really sure that's actually what I'm doing any more, seeing as I've got 1 plant per square foot, vegging (in a separate chamber under T5's) for 3 weeks after a 2 to 3 week cloning period... I can get 5 to 7 harvests per year this way. I guess it's more of a "perpetual harvest" strategy now. Thanks for the input!
