I am not ripping on you but think about how lucky we are to be able to order beans online from great breeders. I dont think a few extra bucks for shipping makes anyone look bad.

True about the great ordering potential that exists nowadays online. The shipping prices of most UK based seed sites are insane tho. The 'tude is 10.12euro without any guarantee or protection for the seeds. That may well be very reasonable for people ordering thousands of miles away. But 10 euro shipping on stuff that weighs very little, from the UK to Ireland is bollocks really. Then factor in the "guarantee" and its around 17.86euro to ship an envelope no more than 400* miles.

NI which is beside me and considered apart of the UK has £5.36 shipping. (NI. less than 20 miles from me)

So yes it does make them look bad when you(i) come across a site that ships to the same address for half the price.

Last time my order arrived in 5 days.
great strains at decent prices.
They seem to carry more of a selection than most other places... at better prices too!

I can't badmouth the tude too much..5/5 over the years but I read alot if other customer getting put on the pay no mind list when a problem arrises. But maybe I got lucky withmy 5 for 5 over the years. Freebies suck.

I like sea of seeds alot, great prices,very stealthy..great selection ..great freebies.

Hey guys I have ordered 4 times in the last few months from seaofseeds. I have gotten all order most within 7-10 days of placing my order. I live in one of the states where pot is legal. This last order it took them around 3 or 4 days to ship it out. This was in between the times when the payment system was down, up and down again. So it could be they where hammered with orders.
I have even called them a few times.

Well now it seems as we all know they payment system is down but so is the phone system. And now even the website.
I wonder what the heck is going on. I would love to place an order but now I question if the company is going under.

They have had a serious security issue so have taken the site offline and are now in the process of getting their new site online with a better shopping cart. They are not going under.

I cannot answer that. But as per the post in the thread you pasted, EM sure doesn't make out as if the company is going under. And given their popularity as a seedbank, it wouldn't seem logical to think that they were going under.

I agree with you. They have been so good to me that I never had a reason to order anywhere else. I really hope everything goes back to normal.

Really??

I've always recommended SoS but after they allowed mine and thousands of others order info to be openly accessed on the everlasting web, they far from Rock.

Lets just hope the wrong people don't have that info; Future orders from return customers might have issues.

I don't need to buy beans from more than 1 bank, especially when they all carry similar breeder's.
I've never used SoS + this type of major problem encourages me not to.
Even if they fix this problem, it's kinda late now...

Why do all the threads with information about the site being hacked keep get taken down that's so fucked up. Very disappointed in R.I.U. That is something that needs to be addressed not swept under the rug! Sea Of Seeds might take a hit in the rep department, but some of their customers might go to the police department. I would never in my life trust those assholes with personal info again, What a joke. Fuck me once shame on you, Fuck me twice shame on me! I'm sure people will hate on me, but that's just how I feel about it. There are too many sites out there that don't let personal info get spammed on the internet and that's who I'm dealing with for now on. Sea of Seeds fucked their customers on such a level it's just unforgivable I.M.O. Good luck, Good grow, Be safe, :peace: out.
