WEll holy shit Mcgyver
It looks like you have put your engineering degree to some use!! SOOO, let me get to giving ya some input. OH btw, Sorry I havent been around lately, its getting closer to harvest so I am gettimg more and more consumed with the daily operations
None the less, I can say I have seen a similar set up before, and that grower had good results with the grow box. I think you have upgraded for sure, and it seems you may have a better chance at reaching a harvest. I have learned that Proper Preperation Prevents Poor Performance
So the more planning the better your grow will be.
Lighting : You seem to be good at the moment. I think if you can make it to flowering, you are certianly going to have to make the majority of the light 2700k. I would at least say 4 23watter of the 2700k and one of the 6500k 23watters and you should be golden.
Ventilation : At the moment what you have is sufficent. However, I think you may need to add another set of intake and exhaust as time moves on and the plant gets bigger, it is going to need more air circulation than that. Perhaps even adding a small fan on a low setting to move air about inside of the box would be a great addition. It will also help thicken up the plants stem.
Water : If you are letting your water evaporate for at least 24hrs before watering with regular tap water you should be okay. However, if possible, I would check the PH or try to get your hands on some distilled water ( $1 a gallon at any food store) or set up a cistern outdoors and collect rain water. Nowadays, water treatment plants add chemicals that DONT evaporate regardless of how long you leave open. Depending on where you live this could be very true, and will only lead to killing your micro-herd in the soil.
Nutrients : Well I know you are probably on a budget, but I would recommend anything organic. If you can at least get your hands on some Big Bloom from Fox Farms, or even Grow Big ( for veg growth) from Fox Farms thats a plus. PLEASE stay away from anything from walmart, home depot, lowes. There is no miracle in miracle grow or any other chauncy fertilizers they sell. They are all synthetic based for the most part and horrible for your plant and its micro-herd. If you cant get anything decent give me a PM and I will send some help your way.
It was a good add to add some vermiculite to your soil. If you can get some unfertilized perlite that is another good option. I think your only going to make out with the one clone, and a seeder. Your clone is from a female mother so it IS a female. If that seed you grow out is a MALE...CHUCK IT. I would at least like to see you get to a harvest with some UNSEEDED Bud. Once we get you there, we can work on the progression
The pot you have the clone in, may be to big. However, it will have to do at this point. If your seed turns out to be a female, obviously keep it, and find a way to make room for it.
Well, my man, you have certianly shown great signs that you are now addicted to cultivation ( I told you it was mate)! However, its a beautiful addiction and a truely healthy one
Keep me posted m8. Get ahold of me in PM if you need some organic nutrient help! I hope to see some fine sinsemilla this time. YOU CAN DO IT!
Peace, Love, and Happiness
