So, Coco as my medium, using Dutch Master Original A&B, Potash, and Hydro shop 'C', Fed once a day with a foliar spray as well as 15 min drip feed. Final Weeks Now, 6 of 9-10. Seen some great progress in last few days, trichs sweating out, buds beginning to swell, lovely golden colour coming through a bit, Nice lime green tiger striped buds. And a strong licorice, Lemony sweet odour. Supposed to have about 21.5 or so THC... Last grow was a bust, terrible from start to finish, and the buds tasted like shit Because I dried really badly... Hope I can do better. What you Recon So Far????

Well Let me know how you think Im going, any helpful info and advice will+rep... Need lotsa help getting all the flush and final Dark period done all done right, I want to be able to put some nice Frosty pics up to show you guys... Anyone with any tried and true ways to get the best trichome and resin from the last 3 to 4 weeks of flower, please help!!! I will upload more soon when the buds fatten up some more! Cheers

Your buds might be tasting bad because of the nutrient buildup on the buds, if you are at week 6 i would stop spraying the bud completely and give them a good rinse with plain ph balance h20. I recommend only foliar spraying in veg and the first 2 weeks of flower. As you can see in your pics the hairs are browning prematurely which is either from pollination, heat stress, or spraying the buds with insecticide or fert. My best guess is the last one. The plant looks pretty good overall, usually at 6 weeks the bud development would be larger, especially in hydro so i would work on your feeding schedule/recipe and look at getting more products. The specified nutrient lines are nice but they don't have everything you need.

oh and for sweeter buds run plain h20 and molasses in your res for the last 2 weeks of flower. Change it out whenever it starts to smell funky and this will flush force the plant to use if its stored nutrients and start to break them down so you dont have chem residue. Molasses is just flavor, carbs, and micronutrients so its good for your plant and will finish up your flower real nice. If you wanna flush your bud with a cleaning product like FloraCleen then you can do this before your molasses flush and it will speed the breakdown and release of nutrient salts within the plant.

thanks man, will stop foliar feeding soon, was a bit concerned about bud rot so was a consideration. I like the molasses idea, might look into where to find it around my area.nAlso noticed last grow they really showed slow progress untill about this time into bud, then pumped up quick, time will tell, i'll keep taking pics...

Word man, its just does more damage than anything when you are late in flower. Molasses is a great growing tool and its practically essential. Make sure you get Blackstrap Molasses unless you want to just sweeten your herb, then you can use Unsulfured.
And ya some strains take more time than others to fatten up, its for sure the genetics. For your first couple grows ur doin great man! Just gotta refine your art which takes time.

So about harvest time, what you rekon. Im waiting for the trichs to brown up a lil bit more, then im putting her into a 3 day dark cycle. flushing every second day with ph'd water.

How easy was this grow so far? Everyone talks about how hard pure sativa grows are indoors. Did you find it challenging or are you just good enough to handle it?

Not a full sativa, 75%, the grow was easy as, very vigorous and super hardy strain under only 400w. When Flowering I noticed a few unusual things, but looked into it and found out most of my concerns were unnecessary. Advice i could give is look for good sativa or sativa hybrid genes, and research it plenty, look at others grow journals etc. I would say if a sativa grow is harder indoors, then I would be very happy the way mine has turned out indeed. I'm trying a new strain soon, got the clone now, she's a indica, I guess i will see how easy she is and then I'll be able to judge what strain is tougher indoors.

Anyway, get whatever strain tickles your fancy, sativas are great, but the hardest thing is waiting for Harvest! Mines a 9-11 week
