Hey man, growing weed isn't cheap. It's cool if you wanna play around, but I'm just saying, get serious or give it up. This isn't for everyone.
If anything, it sounds more like you should stop growing, get off the internet, and work on your financial struggles.
I'm just trying to look out for you.

This hobby is nothing but growing pains, learning and practicing. That pot you were growing with in the first few pics seemed a bit over kill. Also looked like you had rocks in your soil / pot...not necessary. Drainage can be created perlite, hydroton,
My 2nd grow was definitely better than my 1st, and my 3rd was way better than my 2nd....
Soil, Growing Medium, Water, Light, air, temperature...I mean those are the super key ingredients.
Miracle Gro $10 bag works great for a beginner, minimal, MINIMAL stuff needed for a 105-114 day grow;
24 hours in water
2-4 days in paper towel
14 days in cup as seedling
30 days to sex
60-64 days to flower
Start with a cup size for the seedling size, about 20 days into veg/ waiting for sex, you could transfer to a 3 gallon pot.
This stage is where the fork in the road comes into play and you could go in any of a hundred directions...
I used Mars LED lights, 300 Watt output - Kind of low but like you I was going for low profile.
You can fit about 6 pots under these lights in the beginning and towards the end you will need some males because it gets crowded, 3 plants is optimal for these lights at 105+ days.
Miracle grow has slow release nitrogen tablets and you can just feed bat guano during flower, good for beginner but as you advance you will want your own organic soil.
I used air pots, simple and cheap, reusable, great for beginners. The size of the pot dictates the size of the plant. Do not over fertilize, usually great soils act as incredible buffers and you will learn this down the line when you make your own.
Plants need 72-76 degrees F optimal temperature, above 85 degrees the stop growing, as well as below 70ish. Humidity around 60 for veg, 50 for flower-ish, again all this is to your liking but these are solid benchmarks to keep an eye on.
If your not measuring all the elements and inputs, then your really not doing yourself a good grower service. All about notes, tinkering and doing it all over again. Read, read, watch, watch, repeat x infinity.

Thank you, that was helpful. I did a bunch of stuff to her and learned alot by messing up. I like this hobby, just wish I could do it in my outdoor veg garden.
These next two plants are not giving a single problem. Lesson learned from this trial run. I have seen buckets that produced close to a Lb but they were experienced growers and knew how to train the growth.
I did switch to a Hempy bucket set up, perlite and vermiculite, for the next two. I have been measuring nutes since I bought the big bloom and tiger bloom. I'm on straight water now waiting to cut at the end of the week.

Have you looked into a small 2x2 tent? Small tent, small exhaust fan, small hid light(250 hps), and you're in business. You would still be able to train and learn all of those techniques and you could yield up to a qp out of that small tent.
Another useful skill, is to learn how to properly water and feed. The reason I say this is because your plant is over fertilized as we speak. Tiger bloom is the one that is doing it, big bloom wont burn at all. So no need to worry about how much big bloom you give it. If you feed properly there shouldnt be a need to flush at all.

I feel like my plant foxtailed a bit and I was planning on harvesting in 24 to 48 hours. After manscaping a bit I saw lot of whit hairs. Does anyone think they will fatten up. It makes the uniform shape in the picture and I was reading some strains just do that.
Now, I remember the Goji looking a little knobby when I smoke it in February and it does look like it could frost and plump up a bit more.

I did crop them to that shape and size. I kept them small because I wanted something manageable so could make it work and move it around. Like mentioned before, this is a low key grow and I needed to keep most purchases to Lowes and Home Depot for married people reasons.
On this next one. I fixed the lighting and fans. I'm switching to a closed hempy bucket and spending more time training under chicken wire to get six lines at the same height as these. I have FIMed and SCROGed so far to 8 colas and I will control the height till sex show and I let them go vertical. That is the plan ATM.

I tried a lower bud I snipped off the other day. It's a butt-sitter and headdy, that's why I liked it. Face is heavy but I want to get up and do stuff.
I'm waiting to cut. Hairs are getting close to 80% change and I see some cloudy but mostly clear trichs.
How fast is the change from cloudy to amber, a day or days?
