Hello all! New to the forum, First time around I grew a Zkittlez OG Auto and was able to get just over 3 ounces. This time around I wanted to try something bigger so I went with Tropicana banana. She is in a three gallon pot, fox farm soil and nutrients. Mars ts1000 led in a 3x3 tent. How is she looking to you? Thanks for looking!

Thank you! No this one isn’t an Auto.
Yeah so with photos, size of the plant is decided by you, when you switch the light to 12/12, doesnt matter what strain. Personally I would add a little more light to that tent and do either one plant that fills the tent wall to wall or 4 little ones. Should be able to get close to if not a full pound out of 3x3.

I believe that mars light is only 100w and that second led is likely 150w. Dont go by the BS numbers the manufactures advertise, go by the true watts from the wall. Plants like 35-50w per square foot.

Something along those lines yea! Once I get the hang of it I will be doing a upgrade on everything.

I personally just decided to add a 3x3 to my grow room so i can veg then move to the 5x5. This is the light I picked. I know its a little over priced- you can get a vivosun hood/ballast with no bulb for 115 and buy the philips separate for 70$ and essentially have the same output, i just like the sun systems and plan to be running it 24/7 for years so I went all out.

Thank you for the recommendation, I have saved that in my amazon cart for consideration when I upgrade. Looks like a nice like, I will do my research on it.

Im personally devoted to bulbs over leds. Like i say the vivosun setup is half the price and much more competitive with leds in its price range.

Fixture
Bulb

If you do decide to start running bulbs instead of leds, know that expensive bulbs truly do outperform cheap ones in every way. You pay 3x as much for the good bulb and its only 20% better than the cheap one but when you factor in the cost of electricity and how much longer a good bulb lasts, they are worth it.
