Second grow is like second child

It's amazing to me how similar a first grow is to your first child. I obsessed about my first grow every waking minute, bought all these nutes and tools, etc. Basically every time I'd open the tent my attitude was "Do you need something? What do you need? What do you need? Shit, is that a cal def right there or maybe not enough mag. Dammit, a good grower would know, I need to study my handy symptom posters more. What a loser I am. Wait a second, that leaf over there looks a little un-leafy, un-leafy indeed. I better take a picture of that shit immediately and post it. I bet the guys are going to say too much water but is it really? I mean, it could be too little. For now I think I'll water exactly half a typical watering just to be safe. I don't want them to die before someone gives me an answer in 10 minutes".

This second grow my attitude when opening the tent is like "Hey, sorry its been a few days. What's good?".

Nah man im talking about your plants u say this is ur 2nd grow and now u only go to the tent once in a while, thats why i say don't neglect ur kids. Its good to check on them at least once a day, a bulb can go bad or a fan or the timer. I like to check on them every day and i been Growing for almost 10 years. GL

I'm on my 3rd indoor round and I still check mine twice a day. I know what you mean though. The first round I was checking on them constantly. I was also out of weed so of course that made it even worse! I'm still a mother hen when it comes to my plants though! I'm constantly checking for deficiencies, bugs, and moisture level. I also just enjoy being with them and admiring my crop. Now that I have plenty in reserve I do manage to be a bit more patient.
