Second grow, N deficiency problem?

They don't look to bad mate just a slight deficiency.
If you have been running your PH levels high I would advise you to empty the res and fill up with fresh water, then adjust EC and PH levels accordingly.

Yeah I've just done that now Steve1967, figured it would be best to just start the tank over again with correct ph and nutrients. Hopefully the next couple of days will show an improvement. One final question I have a digital balast which had the 400w, 400w boost, 600w and 600w boost options. At what point do I ramp it up to 600 and then 600 boost? Or do I just stay at 600w boost? I have no issues with temperature as I put in a vent straight from outside which sucks in filtered cold air!

All depends on the height of the light and the space you have. You might have too much light or too little. Up to your microclimate. Theres no set time.

dont boost ur bulbs, shortens the life, if after 3-4 grows they are gettin weak, THEN boost them to squeeze one more grow out.....

and move them outside the tent they make heat....

I dont boost mine either....but ive always thought of trying :fire:

Ok good tip. I'm using cool tubes on rails so I can move and lower/raise them fairly easily. I've kept them fairly low to avoid stretching as my last plants got out of control and we're like 6 feet high lol trying to avoid that this tim around. Yes good point on the ballasts, they are usually outside the tent but had to move them inside last night to re arrange the room but they will be back out this evening!

i talk shit, my ballasts are in my flower room.... but at least they are perma-blasted w/ cool air from outside! my intake blows across the ballast zone

See how the nitrogen is actually becoming more consumable by the plant the farther you go tward 9? Its actually less where your telling him he should be. Read the fucking chart before you wave it at me flag.

Last grow early on it was clear I was going to have hear issues as I live in am extremely efficency house triple glazing, well insulated, a heat system that recirculates the air in the house. So I had to get a fairly powerful fan, put in a vent straight to the outside upstairs wall and get cool air in. Rare it's ever above 25 degrees in there now
