This is my second grow attempt of some bag seed. Looks crazy just planting 1 seed but Dont have a lamp to grow more then 1 so have to take a chance it will turn out female. Had some luck my first grow planting just 1 seed turned out to produce some decent bud. so i guess so far im batting 1.000 on females hope this 1 turnes out the same.

Using miracle grow poting soil which didnt turn out so good. it burned the first set of leaves that came out. hopefully thats all it will burn.

Ill try to get pics once a week or so to show the progress of this little child.

fingers are crossed that i will be 2/2 with females.

How's the weather in your area, strictly indoor now? Good to see your next grow going on. Is that aluminum foil I see?

weather is avg 30degrees everyday with snow and rain way to cold strictly indoors. I have my doubts it will even get much bigger just using these crappy lights but time will tell..

the burn on the bottom leaves seems to be staying there no other signs of burn yet. this will be the last time i use that soil.

I had started my seedlings in the same stuff but switch to a mixture I got from some where on this site, I can't remember where. I transplanted on Friday and since then they have grown like a weed.:blsmoke:

3 gallon bucket
organic miracle grow
organic soil (his called for fox farm but I could find it in my area so I got some local stuff)
10 - 20% perlite
1/2 cup dolomite lime
1 cup bone meal
1 cup blood meal

growing very slow but!!!! i have a 400watt MH/HPS lamp coming next week!
cool wutter! it's like christmas early, right :blsmoke: very happy for ya, man!

my plants did the same thing with the yellowing lower leaves at about that age... i assumed it was the mg soil i used, but then again, who knows, really... i'm interested to see what happens when i start my new seeds directly in coco and have more control over nutes. didn't you use mg soil with your last grow? if so, did it have the same effect?

so are you going to germ some more seeds now that you have the light coming? hurry up  ...not sure how many you want to grow, and i forget how much floor space you've got in that closet of yours, but i would think you could fit 4-6 mature plants under that light, maybe 8? so i would probably start cooking another 10-12 seeds, unless you were going to try your hand at cloning.

stupid soil is still burning it a bit looks like it calming down though.. will never use that soil again. will use just regular soil with no added nutes but add my own.

buying some reflective mylar tomorow to line the walls and floor

I have it set on a timer that came with the light. 18/6

looks great wutter- congrats on your new acquisition!! if you haven't already, get a fan blowing right on that light, and you'll be surprised how much closer you will be able to get it to the plants... but it looks like you've got it pretty close already- what's the distance? if you've still got a bit of room to work with, just keep inching it down every day so your plant doesn't have to reach very far to get the lumens it wants :blsmoke:... i'm going to try to keep my light somewhere between 6-10 inches away from my crop, but i'll have to wait and see what they're willing to accept when the time comes!

Started 15 seedlings tonight. Hope I will keep 6-8 of the healther ones. Other plant is doing great. Looks a bit droopy but its just waking up. light just turned on. hopeing in 90 days that closet will look like a bush.

I think im going to order that 20$ bag of FoxFarm's Ocean Forest Potting Mix 1.5 Cubic Feet. Should be enough I hope to transfer 6-8 plants in 3 gallon pots.

Well hope this all goes well.. fingers crossed for a closet bush!

Some close ups of the little one growing. Shes starting to pop out new colas everywhere! The MG soil I used burnt it while it was young but now it seems to not bother it at all. She is producing great looking leaves now some the size of my hand. Might be cause of the great light its finally getting. best 200 bucks i ever spent! im loving the light it seems to be doing its job.

I have so many little seedlings about to hatch and the plant i have now defenitly cant be vegging for another 30 days with the others.. she will be to big. I was thinking maybe put it into flowering in a few weeks and while the others are under the 18-6 light I will just take her out and put it in another dark closet.

temp in room 79
temp under light 83
humidity in room 25%
