Second Grow - White Widow

Hi everyone,

Well after growing some bag seed with some questionable results I finally decided to order some feminized white widow seeds from a legit bank. Can anyone give me any pointers on what to expect from growing these seeds? I heard white widow is a good strain for newer growers, is this true? I'm using soil to grow and have FF grow big and big bud and all that good stuff. Thanks for any help!

What light setup are you using and what soil?

I'm growing WW also, check the link in my signature. Great strain. It's not picky either - 'grower friendly' for sure.

Where did you buy the seeds?

Im growing some of Nirvanas WW at the moment, first grow. All I can say is WOW, really nice vigorous growth, nice looking plants.

White widow is a strain that does not run away during flowering so i would let her get to about 1 1/2 ft before flowering.I always have this strain around great plant top her at two week into the grow and let her go for 1 extra week so that will be 9 week this will increase the crystal formation and weight.Add the big bud in the 2nd week of flowering and she also likes to be flushed i flush once a week with water ph 5.5 then leave her in the bath so the excess water can run off then add new made nutrients and leave for another couple of hours then back under the lights she goes.If you do this then the plant should only need 1 water a week even if she drys around day 5/6 let her wait water on the same day every week.

I'm using a T5 flo for the veg and then a 400w hps for the flower. I'm using some soil I got from the local hydro guy here... he said it was basically the equivalent of FF Ocean Forest. I'll check out your link thanks!

Well all things being equal. In reading what you have and getting your growing experience dialed in I would say its possible that you could get 3-4 ounces off say 4 plants grown under the 400hps. Thats assuming very little veg time.
