Second Time 2000w Hps Scrog 20 OG Kush Clones

Hello RIT his will be my second attempt at a grow, but my first with HID lighting. I recently purchased 30 OG kush clones from a friend, and my plan is to let them veg for a few weeks and as soon as they get about 12 -16 inches tall im going to be using a hand made lattice to train my plants into a scrog. I used clonex to root them and as soon as they showed roots i transplanted them to cups with fox farm ocean forest. Currently they are under a 250 w MH light just so they don't get burned by my stronger lights. My clones are not as healthy as i'd like but I was forced to make a long drive with them in my scorching car and as a result tey were very wilted. They don't look as bad in the picture but I don't want to stress them with excessive lighting till i know they are healthy and ready.

Here is a picture of my clones to date, let me know what you guys think and any info will be greatly appreciated.

yeah lookin nice, im under 400 now about to step up to 1800, will def follow to see how you do
im in my first grow right now and have 2 mothers planned.i also use ffof and have clonex, but i was wondering what did you put the clones in to root them before puttin in the soil??

Oh i actually did an experiment, where some are in Oasis cubes where others are in just original rockwool. It turns out that they are pretty similar in terms of results, just it seemed that the oasis cubes took a little more time to maintain the correct dampness. As soon as i saw roots emerge from the bottom I just placed some ffof in a red cup and wet it down then placed the root exposed ends into the soil and gently pack it down. I put those babies through a lot of stress to get them to my grow room but im hoping that they will recover. Do you ever feed them very light nutes at the beginning?

im keeping mine under a 4 ft 6 tube flourescent box. t12 full spectrum. its overkill for what clones or seedlings need but its what i got. as far as nutes ididnt start till week 2.5 ish and even at that it was only 1/10 strength. check out hygrozyme and shark bite. both are additives that promote root growth and plant health, and neither can burn the plant, i add every watering whether im using nutes at the time or not

both came very recommended by a friend of mine and backed up when i talked to the guy at the hydro shop, even tho i think he'd stand behind everything he sold

sweet thanks for the help, ill definitely check those out, my seedlings are wilting a little under the light, do you know what this could be caused by?

Here is a pic some of the babies look awesome but some are wilting, all had roots emerging from the oasis pods, and i just put them in the cups with straight FFOF soil. Let me know what I can do to help those laggers out.

Here's an update day 3, I planted a Barney's farm Burmese Kush, A UFO free Kushage, and a Og Blueberry Kush seed that I got in a bud from the dispensary. The plants that survived are all OG kush and some are looking good while others not so much, :(.
The light i'm using currently is a 250 HD but i have two 1000 watters ready to go, I just don't wanna overwhelm the young'ns. My question is should it be closer or is that Okay for now?

your light is good for now, alot of people wouldnt even recommend seedling or clones under an hid. its alot of light but yours os only 250 and plenty far away, most people use cfls or tubes for clones. looks like you still got a few good ones. ive also learned to let them root in a lightweight medium, then transplant into soil.
im gonna have my first crack at cloning tomorrow night

check out what racerboy said in my photoperiod thread.... he gave great advise on cloning and an easy to make cloner. hopefully he makes a diy thread for it but its good advise to read.

Damn thanks! It doesn't seem to be burning anything yet but hopefully it keep goin well. One thing that I found that helped me have a higher clone success rate is to split the end of the stem that is going into the grow medium so that there is more surface area for roots to form. Also shaving the tip of the root end helps increase my success rate.
