After making baseless statements that marijuana is “only slightly less awful” than heroin and that “good people don’t smoke marijuana,” the attorney general, Jeff Sessions – who once “joked” that he thought the violent white supremacists of the KKK were “okay until I found out they smoked pot” – has established a task force to investigate the connection between marijuana and violent crime.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has a prescription for opioid and heroin addicts—and it's not marijuana. Sessions said in a statement that he was “astonished” by suggestions that medical marijuana could be a cure for the epidemic that’s ravaging the U.S,, telling reporters in Richmond that medical use of the drug has “been hyped, maybe too much.”
While speaking before federal, state and local law enforcement Wednesday, the former Alabama senator addressed the surge of illegal drugs flooding the country and said the only way to end the opioid and heroin crisis was through tactical criminal enforcement, better treatment options and stronger prevention efforts, not by offering addicts something that’s “only slightly less awful,” like legal marijuana.
“I realize this may be an unfashionable belief in a time of growing tolerance of drug use. But too many lives are at stake to worry about being fashionable. I reject the idea that America will be a better place if marijuana is sold in every corner store. And I am astonished to hear people suggest that we can solve our heroin crisis by legalizing marijuana—so people can trade one life-wrecking dependency for another that’s only slightly less awful,” Sessions said. “Our nation needs to say clearly once again that using drugs will destroy your life.”

Wow. Lol. Research Gravity. It proves the Earth (and most celestial bodies of large enoigh mass and age) are spherical, not flat. Gravity basically proves the existance of God too, if you like. Earth is not flat, it never was, and it never will be. It will only continue to erode into a more and more perfect smooth ball floating in space, until it gets nuked by our sun's supernova in a few billion years.

please dont act like its donald trumps fault when in reality trump has criticized jeff sessions for going after marijuana policy. but instead of letting people know that trump doesnt agree with sessions instead you try to act like trump is against marijuana which is so not true. do some research, trump has always said to leave it up to the states to regulate cannabis laws.

Lol. When i say round, i mean essentially round. When neil says egg/football, he means in profile view, referring to the circumference of earth being ever so slightly larger at the equator, due to latitude-dependant angular momentum and related centrifugal forces increasing from poles to equator. Similar to the coreolus effect that makes tropical depressions spin opposite directions in the north vs south hemispheres... but you already knew this is what i meant.
