See If this sounds right

Ok, So i've been doing a lot of research & had a few trial recipes at making rice krispie treats.

The original recipe calls for 3 Tbsp butter. So I have been kinda over doing that and cutting a 1/4c slab off the butter, simmering water, adding the butter & 8 grams of ground up bud. I let it cook for 30 mins the first time, and 4 hours the 2nd time.

Now after reading & researching, Do i need to be cooking it for longer? How does 24 hours in a crock pot set on low sound?

I need something relativily maintainence free since i work during the day.

Also, does anyone know a good recipe for some thing easy like rice krispies?

Well I have had 3 batches which were just experiments.

I wanted my 2"x4" rice krispie treats to be knock outs, not like "eh, that was ok"

My bud is better now, and the crock pot idea is next on the list...in fact I gotta go pick mine up out of storage....

I should have added that i put my bud through the coffee grinder this time...it's like flower almost...

Opinions?
will it be better flowered or just grind it up w/ a grinder?

grinding it into flour is better as there is more surface area for the thc to be extracted. Also- Use Unsalted European Style butter (the butter company challenge makes european style) because it has a slightly higher butterfat content which means it absorbs more THC. If you cant find european then just go with normal UNSALTED butter :) and make sure to keep the crockpot on the lower setting (as you dont want waste it by burning it)

enjoy
