We all get screwed in the end....
YUP.

so anyways..

i can try to answer any questions - but i would say read the thing.

and no... this does create a whole new program seperate from the one we have.. however we would be able to possess pharmacetical grade cannabis as well..

but here is the difference.

if you stuff hasn't been tested - it doesn't fall into their category. it can't be bought or sold.

and.. the reason it'll pass? because the banning of K2 is attached to the same bill..

Does part of this bill actually reclassify it as a schedule 2 drug? That should make the federal government have to act on changing the schedule at the federal level.

(2) MARIHUANA AND THE SUBSTANCES DESCRIBED IN SUBSECTION
21 (1)(D) AND (E) ARE SCHEDULE 2 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES IF THEY ARE
22 MANUFACTURED, OBTAINED, STORED, DISPENSED, POSSESSED, AND USED IN
23 COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE 8 OR ARE OBTAINED, STORED, POSSESSED, AND
24 USED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE MICHIGAN MEDICAL MARIHUANA ACT, 2008
25 IL 1, MCL 333.26421 TO 333.26430.

I saw it coming and that is why for the past 3 years I have been working on my own strains to grow outside when this is over.

You can use the time you have now wisely or you can let it all go up in smoke. Some are investing others are doing other things with this seemingly short time we have been givin to grow. I know damn well they will not let us grow forever. It will all be state or contractor grown in MI in the future.

The damndest thing is now they know who grows so I would be very hesitant to grow indoors when its over.

read the entire law, this is how I understand it.
this changes nothing about the current medical marijuana law, does not affect anything about the current MMMP. it will operate as it is now, and change with hb### changes in the future.

under this bill.
-there will be pharma grade grows that you CAN, but are not required to apply for. they will be inspected, tested, etc. have fees, can be either proft, or non-profit.
-there will only be so many applicants accepted per area, whether that is county, or township, not sure.
-you must submit a full business plan, grow layout/blueprints, list of equiment, etc to be approved with the application.
-must pass a background check (likely more strict than the current MMMP laws)
-there will be seperate "enhanced" cards for people to purchase pharma grade meds, from these pharma grade growers. ONLY enhanced cardholders can purchase meds from ENHANCED growers.
-limits will be set an how much compensation you can receive.
-still restrictions on where you can grow (1000 ft from schools.)
-restrictions on building side advertising

theres more than that, but thats all i got off the top of my head. read it once, and its been a while since.
will probably read it over a few more times to double check.

I am reading this law as they do not deal with dispensaries, they ARE the dispensary. they grow and dispense on site.

After a conversation via email with my state representative you sum it up pretty well. This bill is our first step toward the michigan program being copied from the Colorado system I would expect soon here after you will see a bill allowing caregivers and patients to sell overage to these places for a "fee" However to sell to them you will also have to comply with the survalliance and inspection rules.

Looks good to me.

Also, since they are making this schedule 2, Bye bye zero tolerance driving! LEO would now have to prove intoxication.

I've been thinking that if the dummies don't do something there with driving no one could ever get to their tax whore houses to pay up.
Especially seeing as that one House Bill they passed says only the caregiver connected to the patient or the patient can have their marijuana in a vehicle.
They effectively outlawed delivery from the dispensary with that one.

The way this is going you will have to belong to the Republicans greenhouse association to be a grower and you will be required to pay juice to the people who fought hardest to jail you for using before. And this bullshit enhanced Pharma grade card is preposterous. The only thing it can bring us is to force a patient to buy from dispensary if a Dr. doesn't trust patient to take care of business. There is no good reason to need an additional card or enhancement to buy the 'safest medicine' unless they want to force it on us.

I suppose it's poetic justic - a few greedy fucks have sold us out over and over again in their zeal to become wealthy off of our misery - and now the snakes they dealt with are setting them up for the big fail. Next the pain clinics and shit will be told they can not treat anyone who uses non-Pharma grade weed. The business will be directed to the greenhouses owned by the pols families and the greedy sellouts of Michigan will be left with what they started with minus a few bucks. It was bound to happen - snakes eat their own offspring.

"...Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me lucifer
Cause I'm in need of some restraint
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste, um yeah
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, um yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game..."

other than my criminal history, i qualify for this. no pesticides, or heavy metals in my laboratory setting.

read the bill, the fund will accept payments from anywhere, for the applicant. think pfeizer. got a bag of pre '00 seeds? better get to work. hic is right, time is short, and those developing a discipline, are gonna be winners.

i heard from Rep Callton last night, this is a FEDERALLY Directed Bill, not one directed to the state of Mi. It is a waste of time and space to discuss this bill.
