seed banks question

Just curious if anyone's had experience with alibongo as a seedbank? I was looking at some GGG seeds , however I noticed that they had tga seeds yet isn't on subcools list of reputable seed banks. Anyone have experience with them?

What about pakaloco?? Their in Russia. I've used the tude. Paka has low prices for some known breeders. If their legit I'd buy Yer gear their as well.

I have ordered from the Attitude about a dozen times and Hemp Depot twice, both delivered each and every time to my address, and promptly. Can't go wrong with any TGA strains from either site. Good luck on your future grows. Peace.

Yeah I usually go with sow, hempdepot or the tude, however as far as GGG goes they don't carry it at hempdepot or sow and attitude is out of all the stuff of theirs I was looking at. As for tga I'll always use sow or hempdepot of course as long as I can still make hempfest I plan on picking seeds up from tga there looking forward to meeting sub and some fellow nerds

Ali bongo is a headshop in the UK, if u wanna buy pipes or whatever they are ok, but I wouldn't buy seeds from them, like sub says they buy them from someone else anyways and could have been in the shop for years, if they have new strains id prob question if they're even real as the tude is probably the first place in the UK to get them and have only been listed on the site a day, apart from dr who and MK.

i never buy seeds from headshops in UK, don't trust the fuckers, not hard to take a few beans out and replace with shite.

for the OP too, GGG have a promotion on at attitude, but it don't look great, u just get entered into a raffle...whoopee! Lol.

Thanks Bob. Yeah didn't think it was good for seeds but thought I'd ask. The tude is out the strains I wanted try from GGG. They've also become more spendy. I'll be getting my tga seeds come hempfest hopefully. Thanks again guys the banana puff was sounding good.

No offense guys, but there's some pretty lame logic here for not ordering from Ali Bongo. have any of you actually ordered any seeds from them and grown them--I have. They are the same seeds you get anywhere. Just like everywhere else, the seeds come in their original breeders packaging. How do you know how long ANY seeds have been in stock from ANY seed bank--you don't. Why in the world would a seed bank take out legit seeds and replace them with shit--makes NO SENSE! There's simply too much profit in this business to need to do that. Ali Bongo has been around a long time, and I've yet to find any real complaints about them. They have excellent prices, fast shipping, and excellent customer service.

Before anyone asks, no I have NO affiliation with Ali Bongo, except as a satisfied customer.

My choice for ordering TGA is Hemp Depot. Absolutely A+ and no need to go anywhere else for TGA. As far as other producers, I order from both Attitude and Sow depending on price, with great results. I know I'm getting the real deal from any of the three -- and that's priceless.

id rather buy my seeds from someone who gets them directly from TGA, ie the tude or sow amazing in the UK, just for the fact they are less likely to tamper with the packets, I know someone who has worked for a large headshop in the UK and done this on a large scale, the guy is a prick and many people have probably grown out seeds and got shit and not even realized, he use to change 2-3 seeds per pack.
also, they will get the new strains first, and more than likely will have the freshest stock, though its not guaranteed.
Also, head shops sell the seeds generally for higher prices, being as they have to pass through more re-sellers.
also, u never know how many people have been in contact with the seeds, u have to trust every person that's came into contact with them.

That's just a few of the reasons why I won't use head shops for seeds.

although if I could I would just buy direct from TGA at hempfest, hopefully next year I'll make it.

I'll also add I wasn't slating Ali bongo, I've just recently spent over £100 with them for a new bong and pipe, but I WILL NOT buy seeds from them for the reasons above, and do u seriously believe that people don't steal, in this game it's even more tempting as there's no recall on seeds really. It don't take much for their packers to switch a few seeds, shit when I was younger i probably would have done it myself.
i'll also mention how can Ali bongo be even certain that they are getting legit stock if they buy from resellers, its just too many fingers in the pie for me, and its too easy for someone to switch seeds, yes they are probably fine, but at £40 a pack, I'd rather not take the chance and go with the tude who have never let me down.

Once again, THEY ARE IN ORIGINAL BREEDER PACKS--just like everywhere else. The ATTITUDE--or anyone--COULD open packs and steal seeds and replace them. Yeah, right, if you're WAY too paranoid. Have you contacted Ali Bongo to ask them about their seed ordering and storage practices? I have. They stock about 600 packs of the most popular strains from about 10 breeders (based on last year's sales records); other seeds are ORDERED TWICE (2X) PER DAY--ONCE IN THE MORNING, ONCE IN THE AFTERNOON--FROM THEIR UK BASED DISTRIBUTOR. Thus, any strain can be obtained by the next business day by them. They do it this way PRECISELY SO THEY HAVE A VERY FAST TURN OVER OF SEEDS! Once in their possession, the seeds are stored in refrigerators--JUST LIKE EVERYWHERE ELSE. The idea that the Attitude always gets new strains first is nonsense. Furthermore, why do you think it takes Herbies SO LONG to get new strains in that everyone else has--they don't order new stock very often--think about that! Finally, the ultimate test is to ACTUALLY GROW OUT BEANS you get from Ali Bongo--I assume you have? I know I have. Hell I've even grown the SAME STRAIN FROM ALI BONGO AND THE ATTITUDE--guess what: they turned out the same, imagine that! Bud
