seed germ

so for some reason i decided to try something new and i tried mu hand at germinating my seeds right in the soil.. as of yesterday the Kandy Kush has come out to play but the 7 other seeds ( 5 pineapple express , 1 ww x bb and 1 ww auto) have not poped.. tomorrow after noon will mark a week, still to soon to worry i hope?

How deep did you bury them? I always germ in soil and it takes mine 3 days MAX! I only bury them an erasers length deep.

i always germ right in the soil. i plant no deeper than 1/8". GL

not deep at all. i checked each one to make sure they were not too deep and when i uncovered them extremely carefully and i saw the tap roots shooting out so i hope that's a good thing. its hasn't been as warm in the house as it was last month so i think the soil has just not been warm enough. i hope they pop!

Dig around some and see. Not kidding. Pot is a tough plant or it couldn't survive our attempts to improve it or feed it. I do it. If sprouted either rebury if close to the surface or replant like mentioned above at eraser depth if still at some depth. That works for me. I put seed straight into soil or peat plugs. Poke your finger down to the first joint below the nail. No deeper. Keep soil damp but NOT wet in the least.

You did what I was writing to do while I was writing to do it. Well done even if you like ICP.

I throw mine ON the soil in a 1 inch tray and water the soil if i see any still showing i just sprinkle a very very small amount of dirt on them and toss em in my flowering room under my 400w hps or in my veg room under my 400w mh either works.This is what happens when a wild weed plant goes through its life cycle and die.

thanks for all the replies. i hope in a few days the other ladies will come out to play .. haha @ the icp comment.. all is good. they are not for everyone.
