seed issues

i started to germ some seeds the paper towel method, as i have done b4 with no issues. My 2 S7 seeds thats what they were labeled in the variety pack i got not sure what strain they are germed first and are growing strong, I had 2 Hindu Kush and 1 has germed the other seed turned to mush? and i have 2 Northern Lights #5x Skunk 1 started to show a taproot and now it has almost completely closed back up and the other seed hasnt cracked at all been in the paper towel for about 8 days anyone know whats going on

i keep them in a small container in my kitchen where it is steadily 25 degrees Celsius

also i noticed yesterday in my grow space i have either a lady bug or an asian beetle the ones that look similar i cant determine which it is, I know lady bugs are good to keep pests away but will the asian beetle do the same without affecting my plants i have googled the asian beetles and people say they do the same as a regular lady bug but i cant find anything on them with cannabis plants

anybody have any idea what strain the seeds S7 are I have tried to find out from the seedbank where i bought them but havent gotten a reply

I don't know the answer to your strain question, but for the other - it sounds like they were kept too wet. Too much water while germinating will rot/kill the taproot.

thx doe i guess the NL5xSK seeds are just very sensitive or something then i will try a couple more next week and hope they germ. They were expensive seeds too its pissin me off a bit lol
