So like the title says guys i may have an upside down seed but from what ive read on here its sounds to me as long as the root stays under the medium/soil it should fix itself? is this true cause i used a starter plug and just put the seed in the hole after it was soaked in water overnight. (The plug not the seed) I can see that the seed has cracked and the tap root is out but i cant tell if its coming up or down. any advice as to what should i do. Oh and its been about 48 hrs since i put teh seed in. Thanks again guys:leaf:

you cant just kind of lightly uncover them and place them in the correct way?
You could damage the tap root trying that or put it into shock from being messed with. Think of it as a baby in an incubator. You can look at it, talk to it, admire it, but you do not take it out of the incubator as it would probably die. Same thing for your seeds.

i have carefully used tweezers to move the loose dirt out of the way and flipped them right side up and had great success. my tap root was growing up and out of the top of the soil so i was forced to do this. i wouldn't have done it if i didn't need to.

The farmer across the street accidentally planted all of his seeds upside down one year, it was disastrous. Lol.
