well as a few of you may know i have been out of the game for several years. i have had many things in my life that caused the decision to take a break from smoking and growing. with the exception of a few random posts i have been pretty much completely away from the scene since the middle of 07. i have been reluctant to post on threads as my knowledge of growing has been fading from my memory a bit(damn you pot!) and becoming obsolete, this industry has been growing really fast, i can't believe how much things have changed since i left! i have a LOT to relearn.
i had to switch to bonsai tree's to fulfill my urge to grow, and it has been very satisfying except for the harvest season, a certain smell fills the air that brings me back and makes me regret my decision to not grow very badly. this year i have decided to give it another try...
after doing a few quick searches i have found that there are a lot more options for short flowering strains...as well as apparently autoflowering strains that are clonable...(didn't know that was possible)
ive been looking at iranian short season, but it's EXTREMELY expensive at 150 for ten feminized seeds, with cloning i could make it work but i'm not sure how much space i want to devote to this grow and to weather or not i want to commit to indoor growing whether it be temporary mothers or not. there are also no real grow reports out there, just the stock pictures from dr. green thumb. mostly just a bunch of newbe burnouts who bought a 50 dollar bag and were told by their dealer the weed was ISS...
my other options are the tried and true mighty mite(who sells them nowadays?)or one of the myriad of other new outdoor strains...that or something like LUI or white rhino and hope for the best(a long and warm fall).
as i stated before, a LOT has changed in this world! what strains are commonly grown in the north these days and where can they be bought. is nirvana seeds still around and reliable? what major changes have happened in the last few years that i have known about?
