Seed size question

Well im germinating 2 seeds, they are different sizes. one small and one large. Do larger seeds usually take longer to germ then smaller? and does the seed size have anything to do if the plant is either sativa or indica dominate?

Nothing to do with it, seeds just vary in size, phenotypes, etc...a little pale seed with no tiger stripes could be a killer plant, and vice versa to all situations..

It's not the size that counts, it how you use it.lol, No, as far I've noticed size doesn't affect germination rate or whether it's an indica/sativa.

i've had big ones from small seeds and little ones from big seeds. go figure!

in general sativa beans are smaller then indica.

This is true to be the general rule as I know it, but not completely conclusive as stated.
Bit like childbirth, prem babies can turn out to grow into 6ft something adults and big babies can become... well Danny Devito ^^
Shiny seeds are usually most healthy, stripes and spots are simply miscellaneous
Only really white, small seeds can be a sign of underdeveloped stock
Seed soaking prior to germination is only required for old seed stock (3+ years) otherwise fresh seeds can water log if soaked for too long...
Rinsing your seeds under town water (Chlorine) doesn't hurt either to kill any bad crap waiting to get in at the seed the moment it opens

Large seeds have Large cotyledons inside the seed.
Small seeds have small cotyledons inside the seed.

You could say a large seed has more energy to grow, after germination. Since it's feeding off the starches in the cotyledons.
