Seed started in CoCo Coir - Salt buildup question

do I want to water till substantial runoff? doing so may disturb the seedlings root structure or wash away the seeds, but not doing so may cause nutrient salts and wahtnot to build up when the water evaporates.

iirc I want my coir so saturated that if I were to give it 10mL's of nutes, that 10mL's would flow out and end up in the saucer

is this true?

10-20% Run off on big plants let those seeds get a little dry back to fill with roots
