Seed Storeage

Hey guys, I just cut down my outdoor plants because my neighbors were getting snoopy and I left a male around them for a little while so they would get a few seeds on them right now I just have them in a plastic container with a lid on it in the top of my closest in my room, but what's the best way to store them until next April or May? I heard about storing them in the fridge but not 100% sure if that would work!:wall:

Warmth and humidity cause the roots to sprout. To preserve them, you just want the opposite of that. The colder it is the less humid it is and this is why the fridge works. However you want to make sure they are sealed in an airtight container and the seeds are as dry as possible before sticking them in the fridge. You can use dry rice, crushed up top roman noodles, activated charcoal, etc. Anything that removes moisture will work.

Thanks, they're in an airtight container I might add some rice and stick them in the bottom of my fridge. I just wasn't sure if it would ruin them or hurt the cell structure from the cold, thanks for the advice man I'm pretty nooby and only had my first grow last may I planted them when I still lived with my uncle and we cut them down last weekend, only had 4 of them and all turned out very nice we didnt do anything special to them just poped them in the pots with some MG potting soil and let them do their thing like they would in nature we watered them every other day and misted them down every few days. Two of them turned out to be some really nice purple bud his neighbor got seeds from Jamaica and gave us some, anyways thanks for the advice!
